Spark Recognition-Based Hot-Rolled Coiling Side Guide Plate Control Method
The present invention discloses a control method of hot mill coiler side guides based on spark recognition, where the side guides are adjusted according to the width of sparks from the friction between the hot rolled strip (20) and the side guides (11). An industrial camera (9) is provided obliquely above the side guides (11), and a detection system implements a real-time analysis on the images taken by the industrial camera and determines the magnitude of sparks generated on either side of the side guides according to the spark width. For each unilateral side guide, it is adjusted according to the spark width M.sub.S corresponding to that side guide (11). For said unilateral side guide (11), the deviation of the single-side spark width ΔM.sub.S is obtained according to ΔM.sub.S=M.sub.S−M.sub.aim. The position adjustment magnitude ΔW.sub.S of the unilateral side guide (11) can be obtained according to formula (I). And the pressure adjustment magnitude ΔP.sub.S of the unilateral side guide (11) can be obtained according to formula (II). This method allows the hot rolled strip (20) always in the relative center of the steel coil, reduces the wear of the side guides (11), avoids various defects of the steel coil, and makes the steel coil in good shape.

Rolling mill, and method for setting rolling mill
There is provided a rolling mill that includes a plurality of rolls, in which any one roll among respective rolls is adopted as a reference roll, including a load detection apparatus, detects a vertical roll load at a rolling support point position; a pressing apparatus pressing the roll chocks in the rolling direction; a driving apparatus moving the roll chocks in the rolling direction; and a position control unit which fixes a rolling direction position of roll chocks of the reference roll, and drives the driving apparatus to control positions in the rolling direction of the roll chocks of the rolls other than the reference roll.
METHOD AND APPARATUS TO CONTROL AND ADJUST THE DRAWING ACTION IN A ROLLING MILL, AND CORRESPONDING ROLLING MILL
Apparatus to control and adjust the drawing action in a rolling mill provided with rolling stands through which a product passes. A video monitoring system acquires frames of the product; a processing system that processes the frames and defines a normal rolling range within which the product being rolled must be positioned; identifies the position of the product and its geometric characteristics; and identifies a possible variation of the position of the product being rolled over time based on the analysis of the sequence of frames acquired. An automation system is associated with the rolling mill, configured to receive data relating to the position of the product to determine the continuation of the rolling if the product is correctly positioned in the range, or a variation of the rolling parameters if the position of the product being rolled is able to generate a cobble which is outside of the range.

Bridle device, method for controlling snaking of steel strip, and method for producing steel strip
A bridle device and a method for producing a steel strip in which snaking of a steel strip that occurs during production of a high-silicon steel strip is suppressed. The bridle device includes a pair of upper and lower rotatable endless belts or a pair of upper and lower rotatable caterpillars configured to pinch a steel strip. The bridle device is movable or swingable in a steel strip width direction by using a steering mechanism. The bridle device further includes a rolling reduction mechanism configured to perform rolling reduction on a pinched portion of the steel strip by using the pair of upper and lower endless belts or the pair of upper and lower caterpillars. The steering mechanism moves or swings the bridle device in the steel strip width direction, and the rolling reduction mechanism performs rolling reduction on one of end portions in the steel strip width direction.

MEANDERING CONTROL DEVICE FOR ROLLING LINE
There is provided a meandering control device for a rolling line capable of setting temperature of a material to be rolled so as to suppress meandering of the material to be rolled. The meandering control includes a tail end roll force calculation unit that calculates a predictive value of roll force when entry side tension is not applied, an allowable meandering amount roll force calculation unit that calculates a reference value of the roll force applied to the material to be rolled when a meandering amount of the material to be rolled is an allowable amount, and a temperature rise amount calculation unit that calculates a temperature rise amount of the material to be rolled, based on a difference between the predictive value of the roll force and the reference value of the roll force.
