The invention relates to a finishing train for finish rolling hot strip. It is the object of the invention to modify an existing finishing train in such a way that the surface quality of the hot strip produced is improved without, however, significantly increasing the use of energy during production. This is intended to enable the thin hot strip produced to be used even for applications with high demands on surface quality. This object is achieved by a cleaning nozzle which cleans the upper side of the exit table, thus ensuring that scale and/or rolling dust are/is removed from the exit table.

Device and method for transporting strip material, in particular a hot strip
A device for producing strip material, such as a hot strip. The device includes lateral guide elements which are arranged on both sides of the strip material and, in particular, along a roller table having several rollers, and at least one rotating wear body on each side guide element. In order to minimize the wear of guide elements when transporting the strip material over a roller conveyor, a speed control device regulates a rate of speed of the at least one wear element. Further, a position control device is provided for setting an extended position of the at least one wear element. The position control device sends control signals to a positioning drive for extending the at least one wear body to an extended position.

A Roller Guide and a Method for Guiding Stock
A roller guide (1) for guiding stock in a longitudinal feeding direction (A) toward a pair of rolls for shaping the stock. The roller guide comprises a frame arrangement (2), a pair of guide rollers (3, 4) configured to, in a closed position, engage opposite surface portions of the stock,and positioning means for adjusting a lateral distance between the guide rollers. The roller guide further comprises detection means (13) configured to detect a longitudinal position of a piece of stock (20) with respect to the guide rollers. The positioning means is configured to adjust the lateral distance between the guide rollers in response to said detection.

Guide roller
A guide roller configured to guide a wire to or from a work roller in a wire rolling line includes a rolling-element bearing having a rotatable outer ring, a fixed inner ring, and rolling elements between the outer ring and the inner ring. The outer ring has a profile configured to guide the wire on a radially outer surface thereof.
