METHOD FOR PACKING WELDING WIRE INSIDE CONTAINERS
The invention has as its object a method for packing a welding wire (25) inside a container (40) which includes at least the following steps:
a feeding phase of said welding wire (25) inside a tube (13) placed in rotation to produce a prefixed torsion at each wire loop (25);
a winding phase of the wire (25) coming out of said tube in rotation (13) on a core (20) configured to wind said wire (25) on it, said core (20) being provided with an alternative movement in a substantially vertical direction;
a wire cutting phase (25) at the end of said wire winding phase on the core to (20) and;
a core pick-up phase with the wire (25) wound on it and a core introduction phase (20) with the wire (25) wound on it inside a container (40).
COIL FORMING LAYING HEAD SYSTEM
A laying head assembly for the formation of coils is disclosed and can include a laying head configured to rotate about an axis, a pathway defining an enclosed conduit configured to contain an elongated material, the pathway extending in a helical path around the laying head, and at least one support structure coupling the pathway to the laying head, wherein at least one of the one or more couplings have an asymmetrical cross-sectional shape.
SECTIONAL DRAIN CLEANER CABLE SYSTEM FOR CLEAN USE, STORAGE, AND TRANSPORT
Various storage containers are described for retaining drain cleaning cables. Storage systems utilizing the containers with a cable guide assembly are further described. Also described are methods of using the containers and systems.

AUTOMATED ROD COIL CUTTING STATION
Disclosed within are various embodiments that provide for an automated rod coil cutting station for both ferrous and non-ferrous wire rod mills.
Sectional drain cleaner cable system for clean use, storage, and transport
Various storage containers are described for retaining drain cleaning cables. Storage systems utilizing the containers with a cable guide assembly are further described. Also described are methods of using the containers and systems.
Coreless auger manufacture
A method for the handling of coreless auger, which is produced by an auger production machine from which the coreless auger emerges with a linear motion component and a rotational motion component, includes guiding the rotating auger for linear movement away from the production machine toward a temporary storage facility that has a cylindrical receptacle rotatable about its own axis and a coaxial rotatable feed guide having an axial inlet for formed auger and an outwardly directed outlet for directing formed auger toward an inner periphery of the cylindrical receptacle. The cylindrical receptacle is rotated and the feed guide is allowed to rotate about the axis of its inlet that is roughly coincident with the axis of auger entering the axial inlet of the feed guide. The cylindrical receptacle is rotated at a speed selected to counteract the rotation of the auger about its own axis.

Rolling mill laying head
A laying head for forming an axially moving hot rolled product into a helical series of rings includes a quill rotatable about an axis, with a tubular body journaled for rotation between axially spaced bearings, and a nose projecting axially and forwardly from its tubular body. A product guide is carried by the quill. The product guide is configured to form the product into a helical series of rings. A guide trough provides a helical extension of the product guide. Major portions of the product guide and the guide trough are carried on a continuous helical support on the nose of the quill. The guide trough is channel shaped, with a continuous bottom defining the rim of the helical support, and with segmented detachable side walls.
