HIGH CONDUCTANCE FIN

A stacked conductance fin assembly, that is connected to a heatpipe and an exhaust fan of a computing device, includes: a plurality of fins that are partially overlapped and stacked in a linear array along a first axis of the stacked conductance fin assembly. Overlapping regions of the plurality of fins form two parallel structural walls along the first axis. The overlapping regions overlap along a second axis of the stacked conductance fin assembly, the second axis being perpendicular to the first axis. Each of the plurality of fins includes: a main surface that extends along the second axis between two outermost ends of the main surface; two walls that extend along the first axis, each wall extending from each of the outermost ends of the main surface, respectively; and two offset walls that extend along the first axis, each offset wall extending from each wall, respectively.

Bending method and apparatus for the same

A first-face forming portion of a workpiece and a second-face forming portion spaced apart from it by the length of an intermediate portion are clamped with a first-face forming die and a second-face forming die, respectively. The first-face forming die is moved either upward or downward and the second-face forming die is moved in a direction toward the first-face forming die, and the second-face forming die is pressed against the first-face forming die to shape the upright wall portion.

EQUIPMENT FOR FITTING PANELS FOR INSULATING COVERS

Equipment for fitting panels for insulating covers, such as “standing seam” panels for insulating housing roofs, includes an upper sheet, a lower sheet and an expanded polymer intermediate layer. A working unit extends along a longitudinal axis, which corresponds to the working line of the panels. A supply unit is coupled to the working unit, by a transfer unit extending along a horizontal longitudinal axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the working unit, for supplying reinforcement plates having a thrust portion and a flat portion. The working unit includes a carriage movable along the longitudinal axis. The carriage includes dies configured to cut and deform one end of the upper sheet of the panels and a thrust member for introducing reinforcement plates into a tail end of the expanded polymer intermediate layer. The thrust member is placed downstream of the dies along the working direction of the panels.

Electromagnetic field shaping system and method

A method, system, and apparatus for a part forming system. The part forming system comprises a field shaper having a cavity configured to receive a workpiece and a die. The field shaper has a number of dimensions based on being inserted into a main coil. The workpiece is bent to form a part with a desired shape when an electromagnetic field from the main coil is applied to the field shaper while the field shaper is located within the main coil.

LOCKING ARM OF A CARRIER CONNECTING ROD AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
20240124081 · 2024-04-18 ·

A method for manufacturing a locking arm of a carrier connecting rod includes four steps to press a metal sheet via a first stamping die and a second stamping die to form the metal sheet to include a front section, a bent middle section and a rear section. A stopper is formed to the front section, and a recessed area is formed to one side of the bent middle section. A positioning hole is defined through a center of the recessed area. A guide surface is formed to the bent middle section opposite to the recessed area. The locking arm is pivotably connected to the extendable tube of the carrier connecting rod, and the protrusion of the spring member in the extendable tube is guided by the guide surface to be retractably engaged with the positioning hole. The locking arm is manufactured at low cost and has better structural strength.
