Square tubing swager
A square tubing swager is an electromechanically operated swaging machine for square steel tubing powered by an electric motor whose mechanical output is connected to a clutch assembly which operates an angle worm drive. The output of the angle drives dual two strand sprockets. These sprockets are connected through a series of roller chains and additional sprockets which drive four cam cross shafts. These cam shafts are set in four corresponding slide blocks assemblies within a jaw mount. The invention would be provided with various sized jaws for various sizes of square steel tubing. During use, the steel stock is inserted within the jaw area and the motor energized. The jaws then form the steel stock inward allowing the deformed area to be inserted within the hollow cavity of undeformed steel stock of the same size.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DOUBLE-PIPE HEAT EXCHANGER
A method includes: an inner pipe insertion step of inserting an inner pipe to between a cored bar and a metal movable claw; a designated section corrugated portion formation step of forming a corrugated portion in a first designated section by pressing the first designated section of the inner pipe radially inward by the metal movable claw and plastically deforming the first designated section; a movable claw moving step of moving the metal movable claw outward in the radial direction of the inner pipe; and an inner pipe moving step of moving a second designated section that is the next designated section to between the cored bar and the metal movable claw.
Hot and cold composite formed square and rectangular steel tube with thickened corners and production method
A hot and cold composite formed square and rectangular steel tube and a production method for the same are provided. The radius of an outer corner of the square and rectangular steel tube meets the following conditions: when t is less than or equal to 6 mm, R is greater than 0 and less than 2.0 t; when t is greater than 6 mm and less than or equal to 10 mm, R is greater than 0 and less than 2.5 t; when t is greater than 10 mm, R is greater than 0 and less than 3.0 t, wherein t is the wall thickness of a straight tube part of the square and rectangular steel tube; R is the radius of each of the outer corners of the four corners of the square and rectangular steel tube; and the wall thickness of each corner of the square and rectangular steel tube is between 1.0 t and 1.8 t.
Tubular joint roll forming machine
A roll forming machine for continuously forming a sheet into a joint section of a tube may include a plurality of roller stations arranged longitudinally on a frame and configured to bend the sheet to form the tube, and a carriage slidably secured to the frame. A pleat die assembly may be mounted on the carriage and can be configured to repeatedly engage the tube to form a series of pleats thereby bending the tube to form the joint section. A crimp die assembly may be mounted on the carriage and can be configured to engage the tube to crimp an end of the joint section and sever the end of the joint section from the tube. The carriage may be configured to be selectively moved relative to the frame while the tube is engaged with at least one of the crimp die assembly and the pleat die assembly.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PROFILED HOLLOW SHAFT FOR A TELESCOPIC STEERING SHAFT AND TELESCOPIC STEERING SHAFT
The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a profiled hollow shaft for a telescopic steering shaft of a motor vehicle. A hollow shaft to be machined and a roller forming head having at least one roller are provided. A groove is produced in the hollow shaft by moving the hollow shaft relative to the roller forming head. In order to provide an improved and less expensive method for producing a profiled hollow shaft for a telescopic steering shaft of a motor vehicle, the hollow shaft is moved relative to the roller forming head exclusively in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the hollow shaft. The disclsoure also relates to a steering shaft having rolling body raceways.
STEERING SHAFT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PROFILED HOLLOW SHAFT FOR A TELESCOPIC STEERING SHAFT OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A method for producing a profiled hollow shaft for a telescopic steering shaft of a motor vehicle may involve providing a hollow shaft to be processed, a profile mandrel, and a roller head comprising at least one roller. The method may further involve introducing the profile mandrel into the hollow shaft in order to produce a groove in the hollow shaft. The method may also involve moving the profile mandrel and the hollow shaft together relative to the roller head, wherein movement of the profile mandrel and the hollow shaft relative to the roller head is performed exclusively in a direction of a longitudinal axis of the hollow shaft in order to form a groove.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR FORMING AN ANTIPOLLUTION DEVICE HOUSING
A tool assembly for forming a workpiece with an outer surface into a housing with a non-round design outer profile. The tool assembly includes a number of jaw segments, each jaw segment having an internal surface for engaging the outer surface. The jaw segments are movable between a first condition and a second condition, in which the internal surfaces of the jaw segments substantially define the design outer profile of the housing. Each internal surface has a preselected end point associated therewith defined by a radius centered on the preselected end point that is substantially coincident with the portion of the design outer profile defined by the internal surface. Each jaw segment is movable toward the preselected end point therefor when moved from the first condition to the second condition, and away from the preselected end point therefor when moved from the second condition to the first condition.
Manufacturing method of gears for a speed change device and its apparatus
A manufacturing method and apparatus for gears for a speed change device.
