HOT STAMPED COMPONENT
A hot stamped component, includes: a base material; and a Zn-based plating layer provided in contact with the base material as an upper layer of the base material and containing Zn and Ni. A region of the Zn-based plating layer on a base material side is a Fe—Zn solid solution containing Ni, and two or more twins exist in 10 crystal grains of the Fe—Zn solid solution containing Ni adjacent to an interface between the base material and the Zn-based plating layer.
HEAT SINK, COOLING MODULE, ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING HEAT SINK
A heat sink faces an exhaust port of a blower fan in use, and includes: a first plate-shaped portion; a second plate-shaped portion disposed in parallel with the first plate-shaped portion having a gap therebetween; a plurality of fins that stand up between the first plate-shaped portion and the second plate-shaped portion and are disposed side by side with a gap therebetween to define an air flow path between the fins, through which air flows from the exhaust port; and a protrusion that is disposed at a part of each fin including a center of the upright height, and protrudes into the air flow path.
PANEL-SHAPED FORMED PRODUCT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PANEL-SHAPED FORMED PRODUCT
A panel-shaped formed product made of a metal sheet includes a top panel portion, an opening portion, and a vertical wall portion. The top panel portion is polygonal. The opening portion is provided in the top panel portion. The vertical wall portion extends from at least not less than two adjacent borders among the borders of the top panel portion. At least one pair of each vertical wall portion of pairs of adjacent vertical wall portions of the vertical wall portions has a stepped portion. As a result, the panel shaped formed product has fewer defects such as cracks and wrinkles even when it has a shape that is difficult to form.
CAN BODY TAKE-AWAY MECHANISM FOR VERTICAL BODYMAKER
A can body take-away assembly for a can bodymaker with a vertically oriented reciprocating, elongated ram assembly and a domer is provided. The take-away assembly includes a drive assembly and a can body transport assembly. The drive assembly includes a motor and a support member. The take-away assembly motor is operatively coupled to said support member and structured to move said drive assembly support member in a generally horizontal direction The can body transport assembly includes a number of gripping assemblies. Each gripping assembly is coupled to said drive assembly support member. Each gripping assembly includes a number of pairs of opposed gripping members sized to grip a can body. The gripping assemblies are structured to travel across the path of said ram assembly and to selectively grip a can body.

Flexible container coating compositions
A coating composition includes: (a) 60 to 90 percent by weight of an active hydrogen-containing polyester having a number average molecular weight of at least 23,000, an acid value below 5 and a hydroxyl value below 10, (b) 0.1 to 10 percent by weight of a polyanhydride, and (c) 5 to 30 percent by weight of a curing agent reactive with the active hydrogens associated with (a) and (b), the percentages being based on weight of resin solids of the coating composition, where the reaction product of the coating composition forms a single coating without including a thermoplastic polymer. The coating composition is useful in coating food and beverage containers, particularly 2-piece cans formed by drawing and redrawing (DRD).
Zn-PLATED HOT STAMPED PRODUCT
This Zn-plated hot stamped product includes a steel, a Zn-based plating layer, and an oxide layer, in which an upper layer which is a region on a surface side of the Zn-based plating layer has a two-phase structure of a Γ phase and an Fe—Zn solid solution, and a lower layer which is a region of the Zn-based plating layer excluding the upper layer has a single-phase structure of an Fe—Zn solid solution, an upper layer thickness and a lower layer thickness satisfy the following expression, a Mn content ratio of Max. Mn/Min. Mn, which is a ratio of a maximum value Max. Mn to a minimum value Min. Mn of an Mn content on a surface of the Zn-plated hot stamped product, is 10.0 or less, and an average value Ave. Mn is 0.5 to 7.5% by mass %.
0.20≤upper layer thickness/(upper layer thickness+lower layer thickness)≤0.80
Resiliently mounted, segmented hot forming tool and method for producing a hot formed and press-hardened steel component having a sharply defined transition region
A hot forming tool includes a top tool and a bottom tool, both of which can be moved towards each other. When the hot forming tool is closed, a mold cavity is formed between the top tool and the bottom tool, with the top tool and/or the bottom tool being divided into at least two segments. The hot forming tool has one segment designed as a heating segment. The heating segment includes a compensating element on a side thereof opposite the mold cavity, to compensate for a thermal expansion of the heating segment in the press stroke direction.
Press forming method
The present invention is a press forming method for obtaining a target formed article that has an edge-shaped ridge section and that has a negative surface on one side and a positive surface on the other side with respect to the ridge section as a border, said press forming method including: a first step for forming an intermediate formed article having an intermediate ridge section having a larger radius than the edge radius of the ridge section; and a second step for forming the target formed article from the intermediate formed article. The intermediate formed article has a first intermediate positive surface that corresponds to the site extending from the ridge section to the negative surface of the target formed article and also has a second intermediate positive surface that corresponds to the site extending from the ridge section to the positive surface of the target formed article and that continues from the first intermediate positive surface and an intermediate negative surface continuing from the second intermediate positive surface.
