ADHESIVE APPLICATION DEVICE, APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING LAMINATED STEEL CORE HAVING THE ADHESIVE APPLICATION DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING LAMINATED STEEL CORE
The present invention provides an adhesive application device configured to apply a necessary and sufficient amount of an adhesive to a thin steel strip without causing the problem of increase in the equipment cost. The present invention also provides an apparatus for producing a laminated steel core having the adhesive application device. The present invention further provides a method for producing a laminated steel core. The adhesive application device comprises adhesive application devices (3), (4) that are integrated into a single process, wherein the adhesive application devices (3), (4) are configured to independently apply an adhesive to different locations on the same surface of a thin steel strip (2) at the same or different timings.
Stock lifter assembly
A stock lifter for metal forming dies includes a self-contained assembly. The assembly includes a guide pin that reciprocates within a base. A hardened end cap, which contacts the stock, is attached to the guide pin. A spring is located on the exterior surface of a portion of the base and surrounds the guide pin body. One end of the spring contacts a surface on the cap, while the other end of the spring contacts a surface on the base or an optional mounting flange that is attached above the base. Thus, the stock lifter assembly has a hardened cap for the stock to slide on and a larger, externally mounted spring that provides longer life for the stock lifter. The stock lifter assembly can be made of several different lengths and sizes by using longer or wider guide pins and springs.

Apparatus for manufacturing fin and method for manufacturing fin
A fin manufacturing method and apparatus includes: a first inter-row slit device that forms, by forming in a thin metal plate having a plurality of openings a plurality of slits extending in a longitudinal direction of the thin metal plate while leaving an uncut portion between the plurality of slits, metal strips partially coupled to each other in a transverse direction; a feed roller and a feeding device that convey, in the longitudinal direction, the metal strips in which the plurality of slits is formed by the first inter-row slit device; and a stacking device that (i) forms fins by cutting the uncut portion via which the metal strips are coupled to each other, to separate the metal strips and by cutting the metal strips at regular length intervals and (ii) stacks the formed fins.
Tight space pilot
A tight space pilot, tight space pilot assembly, and related method includes a tight space pilot that can be installed into a die without fasteners, fastener apertures, or added blocks for mounting. The tight space pilot assembly includes ejectors that are retained by the pilot and a retaining ring that holds the tight space pilot in place in a die member.

HOT STAMP TOOLING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD OF FORMING A PART WITH TAILORED TEMPER PROPERTIES
A hot stamp tool including an annealing die and a hot forming die. A blank is placed in the hot forming die with a first transfer arm where it is formed and quenched into a shaped part. The shaped part is then moved from the hot forming die to the annealing die with a second transfer arm. In the annealing die, the shaped part continues to be cooled. The annealing die includes a heating element that heats a portion of the shaped part to the point of annealing to form an annealed part. The annealed part includes a non-annealed portion and an annealed portion with a transition zone between the annealed portion and the non-annealed portion. The annealed portion can then be deformed.
Press formed product, automobile structural member with the press formed product, and method for producing press formed product
Disclosed is a press formed product which is formed from a single steel sheet. The press formed product includes two vertical wall portions, a top plate portion which connects two vertical wall portions with each other, and a projecting portion which projects from at least one boundary portion of two boundary portions each of which connects the vertical wall portion and the top plate portion with each other. In the projecting portion, a steel sheet extending from the vertical wall portion and a steel sheet extending from the top plate portion project from the boundary portion so as to overlap at an overlapping portion located at least at a distal end of the projecting portion. The projecting portion is present at least at a portion of the press formed product in a longitudinal direction. An angle formed between the top plate portion and the overlapping portion is larger than 180°.

Flue gas baffle and manufacturing process therefor
A flue baffle for a water heater comprises a plurality of holes along a length of the baffle and a plurality of bent blades along the length of the baffle, where each hole of the plurality of holes is adjacent to a bent blade of the plurality of bent blades. The holes are configured to permit flue gas to pass through the holes. The bent blades can have an alternating pattern where a first bent blade extends from one side of the baffle and the next bent blade extends from an opposite side of the baffle. A press tool for forming the baffle comprises a piercing tool for forming the plurality of holes and a lance and fold die for forming the bent blades.
