METHOD AND DEVICE FOR JOINING MEMBERS
A method for joining members according to the present invention includes: providing a first member, a second member, a guide shaft member, a rubber member, a first plunger, a second plunger, and a drive mechanism; inserting the second member into a hole portion of the first member; inserting the guide shaft member into a through-hole of the rubber member; inserting the rubber member, into which the guide shaft member is inserted, inside the second member; arranging an assembly in which the first member, the second member, the rubber member, and the guide shaft member so as to horizontally extend; arranging the assembly so as to be sandwiched by the first plunger and the second plunger; and moving the second plunger toward the first plunger; compressing the rubber member by the first plunger and the second plunger in a direction where the guide shaft member extends, and expanding the rubber member radially outside the guide shaft member; and thus expanding and deforming at least a portion of the second member that is inserted into the hole portion to join the portion to the first member by press-fitting.
RIVETING APPARATUS FOR THIN HEAT SINK FIN AND THIN COVER PLATE
A riveting structure for a thin heat sink fin and a thin cover plate is disclosed. The riveting structure includes a plurality of thin heat sink fins and a thin cover plate. The top of each thin heat sink fin is provided with a raised portion, the thin cover plate is formed with a plurality of riveting holes, and the raised portion is riveted and fixed to a corresponding one of the riveting holes in a rolling manner by a rolling device, instead of the traditional manual welding method. This improves the assembly efficiency greatly, reduces the labor cost, and reduces the product defect rate effectively.
Server casing and plate connecting structure thereof
A server casing includes a frame and a plate connecting structure disposed in the frame and including a plate and a board. A first rivet hole of the plate has a first outer hole edge and a first inner hole edge greater than the first outer hole edge. A first guide surface connects the first outer hole edge and the first inner hole edge. The board has a board edge corresponding to the first rivet hole. A first arm is formed on the board edge. After the first arm is pressed to abut against the first guide surface, the pressed first arm deforms along the first guide surface to be located in the first rivet hole, so as to fix the board to the plate.
METHOD FOR JOINING MEMBERS AND JOINED BODY
A method for joining members according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: providing a bumper stay including two integrated pipe portions extending in an identical direction, the bumper stay including a recess provided between the pipe portions being adjacent to each other, the recess extending in a longitudinal direction of the pipe portions from end surfaces of the pipe portions, a part of the recess serving as a locking portion, and a bumper beam including a rear inclined wall formed with two hole portions into which the pipe portions of the bumper stay are insertable respectively; inserting the bumper stay into the hole portions of the bumper beam until the locking portion abuts on the rear inclined wall; and pipe-expanding an insertion portion of the bumper stay into the bumper beam to join the insertion portion to the bumper beam by press-fitting.
Snap locking coupling system for pieces or coupling members
A snap coupling system for pieces or metallic or non metallic coupling members, that require to be attached perpendicularly in a T fashion, in a cross + fashion or angularly, by which a tubular male coupling member having one or more retention tabs that are temporally flexed, enters in slots or receiving apertures of another piece or female coupling member, tubular or planar, where they engage, by which they can be readily attached two tubular members or one tubular member and one planar member, in a perpendicular way, in a cross fashion or angularly, without the necessity of using skilled labor.
Bumper beams, rocker panels and methods
The present disclosure relates to bumper beams having a closed cross-section, the closed cross-section being formed by one or more metal plates. The metal plates include a plurality of holes and a plurality of projections, wherein the projections engage with corresponding holes to retain the closed cross-section. The present disclosure further relates to rocker panels having a closed cross-section, the closed cross-section being formed by one or more metal plates, and the metal plates including a plurality of holes and a plurality of projections, wherein the projections engage with corresponding holes to retain the closed cross-section. The present disclosure further relates to methods of manufacturing such bumper reinforcing members and rocker panels.
PLANET CARRIER, PLANETARY DRIVE FOR A VEHICLE HAVING THE PLANET CARRIER AND SET COMPRISING A PLURALITY OF PLANET CARRIERS
A planet carrier includes a central axis, a pair of carrier shells, planet wheels and riveting devices. Each carrier shell has planetary wheel sections and connecting sections. The connecting sections are arranged as forming sections recessed relative to the planetary gear sections. Each of the planetary wheels is disposed in a planetary wheel section and the riveting devices connect the carrier shells at the connecting sections. Each riveting device is oriented in a circumferential direction around the central axis, is formed in one piece from one material, and has an H-shape. The H-shape is formed from a web section arranged as a spacer between the carrier shells and a rivet section with a pair of single rivets. Each single rivet has a rivet head disposed on one of the carrier shells to fix the one of the carrier shells on the web section.
Thermal module
A thermal module is disclosed. The thermal module includes a radiating fin assembly and a base. The base has a bottom and a plurality of slot vertically extending through the base in a thickness direction thereof. The radiating fin assembly includes a plurality of radiating fins, each of which has a heat-dissipation end and a heat-absorption end. The heat-absorption ends are correspondingly extended through the slots and bent to bear on the bottom for contacting with a heat-producing element. Heat produced by the heat-producing element is absorbed by the heat-absorption ends and directly transferred from the heat-absorption ends to the heat-dissipation ends without the problem of thermal resistance. Therefore, upgraded heat transfer efficiency and excellent heat dissipation effect can be achieved with the thermal module.
