Method for joining members

A method joins members for joining a first member being cylindrical and a second member being plate-shaped and having an opening. This method includes: inserting a first member into an opening of the second member; inserting an elastic body into the first member; guiding an outer diameter side of the first member with a pair of outer dies on both sides of the second member; and compressing an elastic body in the first member with a pair of inner dies. The inner dies compress the elastic body within a range in which the outer dies are positioned.

SNAP PLUG FOR CABLE TRAY

A cable tray including a pair of generally parallel spaced-apart side rails, each side rail defining a plurality of openings. Rungs extend between the rails at intervals spaced along the rails. Each rung includes at least two side walls. Each rung has opposite open ends generally aligned with respective openings in the side rails. End portions of each rung define a transverse opening. A plurality of snap plug fasteners fastens the rungs to the side rails. Each snap plug fastener includes a main body abutting an outboard surface of one of the side rails. A projection extends through one of the openings in the side rail and into one of the open ends of one of the rungs. The projection includes a barb received in one of the transverse openings in the rung.

A heat exchanger includes a plurality of heat transfer tubes housed in a predetermined case, a connecting tube body for connecting the plurality of heat transfer tubes, a predetermined tube expansion portion provided on each heat transfer tube, a first peripheral wall portion provided on the tube expansion portion, and a second peripheral wall portion that is positioned on an end portion of the connecting tube body and fitted to the tube expansion portion, wherein the first and second peripheral wall portions have different sectional shapes and are fitted together in a partial contact state including predetermined contact and non-contact portions. According to this configuration, the heat transfer tubes can be fixed to a side wall portion of the case and the connecting tube body can be connected to the heat transfer tubes easily and appropriately.

Electromagnetic forming coil unit and formed-article producing method using same

Provided are a coil unit for electromagnetic forming capable of stably processing a plurality of portions in the longitudinal direction of a tubular member while preventing the contact between the tubular member and a conductor or the contact between the conductors even when the tubular member is long, and a method for producing a formed article using the coil unit. The coil unit for electromagnetic forming includes: a shaft core member made of a resin; a conductor having a wound portion, which is wound around the shaft core member, and a pair of conductor extension portions; an insulating support; and a resin coating layer formed on the outer peripheral surface of the wound portion. In the insulating support, a conductor holding portion for holding the conductor extension portions apart from each other is formed along the longitudinal direction.

In a flare fitting structure in which a flared portion that is formed in an end of a flared tube and faces a connected member is pressed by a flared nut to connect the flared tube to the connected member, the flared tube is formed by flaring a cylindrical tube including an original tube and a coating layer that coats a surface of the original tube, the flared portion includes a flare inclined plane that faces the connected member, and the flare inclined plane is formed with a machining portion in which the original tube is exposed by a machining operation.

ROTOR AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF ROTOR

A rotor includes: a shaft having a tubular shape; and a rotor core including a through hole into which the shaft is inserted and that has a regular polygonal shape. The shaft is fixed to the rotor core by hydroforming. Of an outer peripheral surface of the shaft, a core contact part that is in contact with the through hole of the rotor core that has the regular polygonal shape has a shape extending along the regular polygonal shape.
