TUBE EXPANSION TOOL
A tube expansion tool that expands an end portion of a synthetic resin made fluid pipe includes an electric motor that is housed in a main body housing. A screw shaft is located in the main body housing and is movable in a front-rear direction. A female screw member is configured to move the screw shaft in the front-rear direction by engaging with and rotating around the screw shaft. A gear that engages the female screw member transmits a rotation output of the output shaft of the electric motor to the female screw member. A wedge extends forward from the screw shaft. A plurality of jaws are coupled to the main body housing so as to be openable/closable. When the wedge moves forward integrally with the screw shaft, the plurality of jaws are pushed by the wedge so as to be opened radially outward relative to each other.
DEVICE FOR WORKING PIPES
A device for working pipes, in particular to carry out a belling working or operation on one end of a pipe, including a belling element configured to produce with a thrust a bell end with a substantially circular shape by means of axial advance into said end of said pipe.
Method for expanding an end of a pipe and expander tool
A method for expanding an end of a pipe made of plastics having shape memory with the aid of an expander tool having a tool head having an expansion member arranged to be insertable inside the end of the pipe. The method includes steps of measuring the temperature of the pipe to be expanded, adjusting at least one of the expansion control parameters of the tool head on the basis the measured temperature of the pipe, and expanding the end of the pipe utilizing the adjusted expansion control parameter of the tool head. The expander tool includes a temperature sensor for measuring temperature of the pipe to be expanded and/or ambient temperature, and an electronic control unit for adjusting at least one of the expansion control parameters of the tool head on the basis the measured temperature value.
PEX expansion tool
An expansion tool includes a housing, a motor supported within the housing, a mandrel, and a drive mechanism configured to convert a rotational input from the motor into translational movement of the mandrel. The drive mechanism includes a cam and a drive shaft coupled to the cam. The expansion tool further includes a frame including a hub and a neck extending from the hub and having an opening. A working element is coupled to the neck and has a plurality of jaws movable from a closed position toward an expanded position in response to movement of the mandrel from a retracted position toward an extended position. The mandrel extends through the opening to engage the jaws, and the drive shaft is rotatably supported by the hub.
PEX expansion tool
An expansion tool includes a working element configured to expand an end of a tube. The working element includes a plurality of jaws movable between a closed position and an expanded position. The expansion tool also includes first mandrel with a first contact surface and a second mandrel coupled to the first mandrel. The second mandrel has a second contact surface. The first mandrel and the second mandrel are movable together relative to the jaws between a retracted position and an extended position. The first contact surface and the second contact surface are engageable with the jaws to move the jaws from the closed position toward the expanded position in response to movement of the first mandrel and the second mandrel from the retracted position toward the extended position.
Device for expanding and shaping the end of pipes and an extracting member for use with such a device
A device for expanding and shaping the end of pipes includes a head with means for connecting to an elastically deformable expanding element with a first elongated portion for being introduced into the end of the pipe, the expanding element having a central through hole, and an extracting member including an expansion head suitable to move from outside to inside the central through hole of the expanding element or the other way round, so as to cause deformation, or to allow the expanding element to elastically return to an undeformed state, means for moving said extracting member, wherein: —the connecting means is suitable for steadily constraining the expanding element to the head for a plurality of different pipes and to allow the expanding element to be replaced when worn out, the elongated portion of the expanding element is made of an elastically deformable polyurethane plastic material having certain characteristics.
METHOD FOR MOLDING SCREW THREAD OF METAL PIPE
After holding a metal pipe 10 using a clamping die 5, a primary formed portion 11a corresponding to the preforming surface portion 5c is formed on the metal pipe 10 by pressing an end portion of the metal pipe 10 with a pressing die 6 in a direction of a cylinder center line C1. A final formed portion 11b is formed on the metal pipe 10 by moving an outer forming die 7 to press an outer circumferential surface of the metal pipe 10 with the outer forming die 7 after aligning a rib portion 7c with the primary formed portion 11a, while moving an inner forming die 8 to press an inner circumferential surface of the metal pipe 10 with the inner forming die 8 after aligning a recessed groove portion 8c with the primary formed portion 11a.

PIPE EXPANDING TOOL
A pipe expanding tool includes a wedge, a plurality of jaws, a spring and a first rotary member. The wedge is movable in a reciprocating manner between a first position and a second position along a first axis. The jaws are rotatable around the first axis and movable to a closed position and to an open position. The jaws are configured to move from the closed position to the open position as the wedge moves from the first position to the second position, and to move from the open position to the closed position as the wedge moves from the second position to the first position. The first rotary member is engaged with the jaws such that the first rotary member is integrally rotatable with the jaws, and is configured to be rotated only in one direction around the first axis by an elastic force of the spring.
PEX EXPANSION TOOL
An expansion tool includes a housing, a motor supported by the housing, a mandrel, and a drive mechanism configured to convert a rotational input from the motor into translational movement of the mandrel between an extended position and a retracted position. The expansion tool is configured to perform cycles of axially extending and retracting the mandrel. An elapsed time for one cycle of moving the mandrel from the retracted position to the extended position and back to the retracted position defines a cycle time of the expansion tool. The cycle time is one second or less.
