A gripper truck assembly for moving a workpiece with respect to a machining station includes a gripper truck; a gripper arm extending from a proximal end connected to the gripper truck to an opposite distal end; a gripper including at least one jaw moveable between a closed position for gripping the workpiece and an open position for releasing the workpiece, wherein the gripper is connected to the distal end of the gripper arm by a joint configured to permit a rotation of the gripper; a hydraulic gripper actuator accommodated in the gripper arm and operatively connected to the gripper for actuating the at least one jaw of the gripper between the open position and the closed position; a gripper rotation actuator for actuating the rotation of the gripper with respect to the gripper arm about the gripper rotation axis.
Processing device, and method for controlling processing device
A processing device processes a frame-shaped workpiece which extends in a prescribed extension direction, and includes, integrally, a plate-shaped web surface portion, a plate-shaped first flange portion that bends and extends from one end of the web surface portion, and a plate-shaped second flange portion which bends from the other end of the web surface portion and extends in the opposite direction to the first flange portion. The processing device includes a shaping device which conveys the workpiece in the extension direction, and an exit side pinch roll device provided further downstream, in the workpiece conveying flow direction, than the shaping device. The exit side pinch roll device includes a first roll which presses a central region of an upper surface side of the web surface portion, and a second roll which presses a central region of a lower surface side of the web surface portion.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR COLLECTING OBLONG PRODUCTS
Apparatus for collecting oblong products, preferably metal products, comprising a first containing device (11) mobile between a work position, in which it is able to receive a plurality of oblong products (P) from a working machine, and a delivery position, in which said metal products (P) are picked up. The present invention also concerns a method to collect said oblong products (P) and a plant (100) for working them.
Forming system
A forming system includes: a forming apparatus which supplies gas into a cylindrical metal pipe material having a welded portion to expand the metal pipe material; a supply device for supplying the metal pipe material to the forming apparatus; and a control device for controlling an operation of the supply device, in which in a case where a position where a distance from a center of the metal pipe material is the longest, on a surface of the die, when viewed from an extension direction of the metal pipe material in a state where the metal pipe material is disposed between the dies, is a longest position, the control device includes a control unit which controls supply of the metal pipe material to the forming apparatus such that the welded portion is not located on a straight line connecting the longest position and the center of the metal pipe material.
TRANSFER CART
A cart and associated method of using the cart to transfer one or more components of a conduit bender is provided. The cart includes one or more caster wheels. A base platform coupled to the one or more caster wheels. A leg assembly extends between the base platform and a top platform. The top platform comprising a plurality of separator bars spaced apart and co-extending with one another such that a plurality of rows is defined between the plurality of separator bars. Each row of the plurality of rows being sized to receive the one or more components of the conduit bender. A plurality of rollers extending between neighboring separator bars in each row of the plurality of rows. The plurality of rollers rotatably coupled to the neighboring separator bars.
APPARATUS AND METHOD TO STORE BARS
Apparatus to store bars (B) comprising a support plane (11), a bundle feed zone (12) and a bar delivery zone (13) associated with respective opposite ends of said support plane (11), wherein said support plane (11) comprises a unit (14) to move said bars (B) in a direction of movement (Z) at least from said bundle feed zone (12) to said bar delivery zone (13).
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING A WORKPIECE
A system (40) is provided for processing a workpiece (44). The system (40) includes a support surface (48) for supporting the workpiece (44) and defining a processing path (P) along which the workpiece (44) may travel relative to the system (40). The system (40) includes at least one tool (64a, 64b, 64c) for performing a process on the workpiece (44) that is movable in a work zone (WZ) along a predetermined length (L) of the workpiece (44) in a direction along the processing path (P). The system (40) includes a movable clamp assembly (80) having opposing clamping pads (84, 88) movable into and out of the work zone (WZ) along the processing path (P) to clamp a portion of the workpiece (44) located in the work zone (WZ) prior to the at least one tool (64a, 64b, 64c) performing a process on the workpiece (44).
Apparatus and method for working bars
An apparatus for working bars includes a plurality of containing devices disposed adjacent and parallel to each other with an oblong development in respective longitudinal directions to contain a respective bundle of bars. At least one work station is located downstream of the containing devices. The work station includes at least one removal device to remove at least one bar from one of the containing devices, at least one drawing unit configured to move the bars in a direction of feed parallel to the longitudinal directions, and at least one bending device configured to bend the bars At least one drive member is associated with the work station, configured to move work station in a transverse direction with respect to the longitudinal directions in order to take the removal device into correspondence with one or the other of the containing devices, which are substantially fixed in position.
METHOD FOR OPTIMISING THE CUTTING AND HANDLING UNIT FOR ELONGATED PRODUCTS
The method for optimising the cutting of elongated products, in particular bars or profiles for reinforced concrete, comprises the steps of arranging in succession along a longitudinal feed direction (Y) a feeding area (5), a cutting assembly (3) and a measuring path (4) for the products (2), the measuring path (4) being configured to receive on a respective receiving plane (4a) the products (2a) cut by the cutting assembly (3). The method also provides for arranging a storage (6) divided into a plurality of compartments (7) downstream of the measuring path (4), for receiving the cut products (2a).
