Apparatus for manufacturing fin and method for manufacturing fin
A fin manufacturing method and apparatus includes: a first inter-row slit device that forms, by forming in a thin metal plate having a plurality of openings a plurality of slits extending in a longitudinal direction of the thin metal plate while leaving an uncut portion between the plurality of slits, metal strips partially coupled to each other in a transverse direction; a feed roller and a feeding device that convey, in the longitudinal direction, the metal strips in which the plurality of slits is formed by the first inter-row slit device; and a stacking device that (i) forms fins by cutting the uncut portion via which the metal strips are coupled to each other, to separate the metal strips and by cutting the metal strips at regular length intervals and (ii) stacks the formed fins.
Heat Exchanger, Cooled Device Assembly Comprising the Heat Exchanger, and Method for Manufacturing the Heat Exchanger
A heat exchanger including a corrugated heat transfer sheet having a first surface and a second surface on opposite sides thereof, a first flow channel for a first fluid flow in a first flow direction parallel to a longitudinal direction, and a second flow channel for a second fluid flow in a second flow direction parallel to the longitudinal direction, the second flow direction being opposite to the first flow direction. The heat exchanger includes a channel dividing system which provides the first flow channel and the second flow channel on opposite sides of the corrugated heat transfer sheet such that the first fluid flow is adapted to be in contact with the first surface, and the second fluid flow is adapted to be in contact with the second surface.
Flue gas baffle and manufacturing process therefor
A flue baffle for a water heater comprises a plurality of holes along a length of the baffle and a plurality of bent blades along the length of the baffle, where each hole of the plurality of holes is adjacent to a bent blade of the plurality of bent blades. The holes are configured to permit flue gas to pass through the holes. The bent blades can have an alternating pattern where a first bent blade extends from one side of the baffle and the next bent blade extends from an opposite side of the baffle. A press tool for forming the baffle comprises a piercing tool for forming the plurality of holes and a lance and fold die for forming the bent blades.
Belt drive unit for a molding machine or bored fins, in particular for heat exchangers, with controlled adaptability to bores of different diameters
A drive unit (4) of the belt (3) for a molding machine (1) of bored fins comprises a fixed front part (12) and a movable rear part (13) driven longitudinally with a forward and backward movement to and from the fixed front part (12). Both parts (12, 13) of the drive unit (4) include support plates (16, 31) on the upper surfaces thereof for vertical teeth (20, 35) with oblique top (22, 37) which protrude upwards under elastic thrust (24, 39) and are suitable for being inserted into corresponding bored collars (52) of the belt (3) downstream of a boring unit (2). The upper surfaces of each of the two parts (12, 13) of the drive unit (4) support at least a further support plate (17, 32) for vertical teeth (21, 36) of greater diameter, which is liftable and lowerable by a control panel (50).
