A wire straightening device has a plurality of rollers and only one single plane of straightening, and is configured to apply a counter bend to the wire as the wire pays off from the bulk package through the wire straightening device. The wire straightening device is operatively connected to the bearing assembly at an angle inside the bulk package hat. The bearing assembly and the single plane of straightening rotate, continually realigning with a current direction of the wire as it pays off.

A configuration and method for straightening a wire as the wire pays off from a bulk package. The wire shaping device can be located immediately adjacent to a wire feeding device of the welder. In use, the wire shaping device may include an inlet port for receiving the wire, a first rotatable sheave for receiving the wire from the inlet port, the first rotatable sheave being rotatable in a first direction; a second rotatable sheave for receiving the wire from the first rotatable sheave, the second rotatable sheave being rotatable in a second direction opposite of the first direction; and an outlet port for receiving the wire from the second rotatable sheave. The wire shaping device may also include a mounting plate and first and second rollers operatively associated with the first and second sheaves, respectively.

A wire shaping device for shaping a welding wire stored in a bulked storage container shapes the welding wire by flexing of the welding wire as it is drawn around sheaves. The wire shaping device can be located immediately adjacent to a wire feeding device of the welder. In use, the wire shaping device may include an inlet port for receiving the wire, a first rotatable sheave for receiving the wire from the inlet port, the first rotatable sheave being rotatable in a first direction; a second rotatable sheave for receiving the wire from the first rotatable sheave, the second rotatable sheave being rotatable in a second direction opposite of the first direction; and an outlet port for receiving the wire from the second rotatable sheave. The wire shaping device may also include a mounting plate and first and second rollers operatively associated with the first and second sheaves, respectively.

An object is to provide a wire straightening device and a wire straightening method, with which it is possible to automatically set the roller spacing in accordance with the type of the wire and to further adjust the roller spacing during operation. A wire straightening device (20) includes a preset value obtaining device that obtains a preset value of roller spacing, which is predetermined for each type of wire (2); a roller spacing automatic setting device that drives an actuator (26a) so that the roller spacing becomes equal to the preset value when the type of the wire (2) is input; and a roller spacing changing device that changes the roller spacing based on an operation by the operator while retaining the preset value during operation of a wire processing device (1).

An object is to provide a wire straightening device and a wire straightening method, with which it is possible to automatically set the roller spacing in accordance with the type of the wire and to further adjust the roller spacing during operation. A wire straightening device (20) includes a preset value obtaining device that obtains a preset value of roller spacing, which is predetermined for each type of wire (2); a roller spacing automatic setting device that drives an actuator (26a) so that the roller spacing becomes equal to the preset value when the type of the wire (2) is input; and a roller spacing changing device that changes the roller spacing based on an operation by the operator while retaining the preset value during operation of a wire processing device (1).

A wire straightening tool contains: a press portion, an urging portion, and a rotation portion. The press portion includes a fixing orifice, the urging portion is an urging element mounted on a bottom of the press portion away from the receiving orifice and configured to urge the press portion to return back to an original position after pressing the press portion. The rotation portion is accommodated in the receiving orifice of the press portion, and the rotation portion includes a rotatable knob and a wire removal element. The rotatable knob has a coupling orifice passing through the rotatable knob, and the wire removal element is received in the coupling orifice. The wire removal element has multiple through orifices defined thereon.

A wire straightening tool contains: a press portion, an urging portion, and a rotation portion. The press portion includes a fixing orifice, the urging portion is an urging element mounted on a bottom of the press portion away from the receiving orifice and configured to urge the press portion to return back to an original position after pressing the press portion. The rotation portion is accommodated in the receiving orifice of the press portion, and the rotation portion includes a rotatable knob and a wire removal element. The rotatable knob has a coupling orifice passing through the rotatable knob, and the wire removal element is received in the coupling orifice. The wire removal element has multiple through orifices defined thereon.
