Feed segments within an adjustable feed matrix may be vertically adjusted, horizontally adjusted, and adjusted for rebar thickness. The adjustable feed matrix may be used in rebar structure building. A feed column may include a plurality of feed segments. Each feed segment may include a feed input and a feed output connected by a feed cavity. The feed cavity can include a feed mechanism and/or stabilizing mechanism that allows different thicknesses of rebar to consistently pass through the feed segment to the feed output. A vertical adjustment may adjust vertical spacing of the segments and increase or decrease vertical spacing of the feed outputs, enabling different vertical spacing between rebar passing through segments of the feed column. The feed column may attach to a rail through a coupling. The coupling may be released through a horizontal adjustment, enabling the feed column to slide along the rail and adjust horizontal spacing of the feed outputs.

The temperature detection device includes a double wires coiling machine, two heating mechanisms for respectively heating two steel wires, and two temperature detection mechanisms for respectively detecting temperatures of the two steel wires in real time, and a controller electrically connected to the two heating mechanisms and the double-wire spring coiling machine respectively.
Systems and processes for feeding longitudinal wires or rods to mesh producing machines
Systems and processes for feeding longitudinal wires in a mesh 3 production machine. Mesh 3 is produced by the welding of longitudinal wires 2 with transverse wires 6 at a welding unit 27. The longitudinal wires may be pulled from decoiler reel 40, straightened, and then deposited in longitudinals storage 19. They are then received by a longitudinals carrier 15 and transported towards welding unit 27. The longitudinal wires 2 are selectively rotated around their longitudinal axes with selected angle, and restrained until their welding with the transverse wires. This negates effects of any possible curvature acquired during their straightening with rollers 9, so that after their welding, the resulting mesh 3 is produced planar with the distortion stresses neutralized.

The present invention relates to machines, systems and processes for feeding longitudinal wires (2) for mesh (6) production. Welding of longitudinal wires (2) with transverse wires (4) at welding unit (57) produces mesh (6). Longitudinal wires (2) are controllably rotated around their longitudinal axes to selected angles, and restrained until their welding with transverse wires (4), thus negating effects of residual curvature from roller straightener (36) and resulting in mesh (6) produced planar with distortion stresses effectively neutralized. A wire collector (79) releases a first longitudinal wire (2) for guided travel laterally to a receptacle (45). A rotator unit (71) simultaneously controllably rotates this wire, while the collector (79) simultaneously receives the length of the next longitudinal wire. Particular rotator units (71) facilitate such operation. In some versions an advancement roller assembly (120) proximate to the welding unit (57) may advance longitudinal wires (2) through the welding unit, freeing a longitudinal wires carrier (31) to return to the longitudinal storage (32) and to receive a next set of longitudinal wires.

The steel bar transverse stepping conveying equipment is provided with a plurality of clamp mechanisms. A front-movable-clamp-area clamp clamps the steel bar and shifts the steel bar to a next position step by step; then the steel bar is clamped by a rear fixed clamp area clamp, and the front-movable-clamp-area clamp is released and returned to an original position; and the previous action is repeated until the stepping conveying of the steel bar is completed.

A metal treatment system, comprising: a wire feeding subsystem; and a cored wire; wherein the wire feeding subsystem feeds the cored wire into a metal bath at a controlled wire feed rate, and wherein the metal bath comprises a molten metal; wherein the cored wire comprises: a consumable outer sheath having a tubular cross section; and a core fill material coupled to an inner surface of the outer sheath, wherein the core fill material comprises a refining agent for refining the molten metal; and wherein the refining agent reacts with the molten metal, thereby causing an impurity to be removable from the metal bath.

A method of feeding an elongate workpiece to a forming machine includes: providing first and second feed units, wherein each of the feed units has a receiving device that receives a workpiece stock in a coil, and a straightening device downstream of the receiving device that straightens the workpiece before it enters the forming machine, wherein the first and second feed units are arranged on a common platform movable between first and second working positions, wherein, in the first working position of the platform, the first feed unit is arranged in a working position suitable for transferring workpiece portions to the forming machine, and the second feed unit is arranged in a setting-up position, and, in the second working position of the platform, the second feed unit is arranged in the working position and the first feed unit in a setting-up position.
