Mandrel collector
A mandrel collector includes a case body and an end plate. The case body has a connecting end for being connected to a rivet gun. The end plate is engaged with the case body and is opposite to the connecting end. The end plate has at least one receiving hole, wherein a hole section of the receiving hole is a hexagonal hole with six walls. The walls include three first walls and three second walls. Each of the first walls is connected between adjacent two of the second walls. The hole section is defined to have a central axis and a reference plane perpendicular to the central axis. On the reference plane, a side length of at least one of the first walls is smaller than side lengths of the second walls. With such design, the receiving hole could receive a head of an adapter and could rotate the adapter as a screwdriver.
System and method for installing a blind fastener in a fastening site
A device for inserting the blind fastener in the fastening site, a pulling and extracting device for swaging the blind fastener in the fastening site and a passive compliance device that binds the inserting device to the pulling and extracting device. The passive compliance device allows the installation of the bind fastener without sensors.
Hydraulic fastener tool
A hydraulic fastener tool comprising with a piston in threaded connection with a single-unit puller that is inside a single-unit anvil. Inside the puller is a segmented collet assembly with an internal spring and guide tube. In use, the tool secures fasteners and ejects the severed fastener stem after fastening.
RIVETING ROBOT SYSTEM
The present invention discloses a riveting robot, comprising: a robot part provided on a chassis, and detachably coupled with a riveting tool part through a hydraulically quick change disk; a visual position identification part provided on a side of the hydraulically quick change disk and secured on the sixth axis of the front end of the robot part; an automatic rivet feeding part provided on a mounting baseplate which is secured on a chassis through a two-stage vibration damping structure; a riveter tailing material collection part used for collecting tailing materials produced during riveting; a riveting quality judgment part used for collecting riveting data, and processing and generating a riveting curve to realize judgment of the riveting quality.
Fastening tool
A fastening tool configured to fasten a workpiece via a multi-piece swage type fastener including a pin and a collar includes an anvil, a pin-gripping part, a driving mechanism, an electric motor, a control part and a housing. The driving mechanism is configured to move the pin-gripping part relative to the anvil in a first direction along an axis so as to cause the anvil to press the collar engaged with a shaft part of the pin in a second direction and in a radially inward direction. An operation mode of the driving mechanism can be selectively switched between a plurality of operation modes including a first mode, in which a process of fastening the workpiece is completed based on a state of the fastener, and a second mode, in which the process of fastening the workpiece is completed based on a driving state of the motor.
Rivet gun
A rivet gun includes a gun body and a spear detachably connected. The gun body has an axial negative pressure air chamber and an axial hydraulic chamber intercommunicating for gas pressure. The spear includes a connecting chamber communicating with the hydraulic chamber and a gun nozzle. A jaw chamber operating for nail-clamping purposes is adjacent to the gun nozzle. The hydraulic chamber has a piston and an elastic member attached to the piston, other end of the elastic member connecting to the negative pressure air chamber. The piston is coupled to a rod, the rod bears on the jaw chamber to move along the axis of the connecting chamber and thereby clamp on or release a riveting nail.
Offset fastener installation system
A method for installing a fastener system. A position on a structure relative to an overhang on the structure is automatically sensed for installing a fastener system in a hole using an offset collar installer. The offset collar installer is moved about a rotation axis to the position such that a collar in the fastener system is held in the position over the hole. The offset collar installer is connected to a platform and rotatable about the rotation axis. The collar is fastened to an engagement feature for a bolt in the hole.
Blind riveting apparatus and methods
A blind riveting apparatus (1) comprises a motor (3), and a clamp (31) for gripping the mandrel of a blind rivet, the clamp being movable substantially along the axis of the rivet. The apparatus further comprises a first transmission (51) configured to transfer rotary motion of the motor (3) to the clamp (31) when engaged; and a second transmission (52) configured to convert rotary motion of the motor (3) to linear motion of the clamp (31), and thereby retract the clamp (31) to pull on the mandrel, when engaged. A transmission control apparatus is arranged to selectively adjust the degree of engagement of at least one of the first (51) and second (52) transmissions, the transmission control apparatus comprising a variable-influence brake or clutch (58). Methods of blind riveting, and further pieces of blind riveting apparatus, are also disclosed.
FASTENING TOOL
A fastening tool includes a housing, a fastener-abutment part, a pin-gripping part, a motor, a driving mechanism and a handle. The housing extends in a front-rear direction along a driving axis. The driving mechanism is configured to move the pin-gripping part rearward along the driving axis relative to the fastener-abutment part. The driving mechanism includes a rotary member and a movable member configured to linearly move in the front-rear direction when the rotary member is rotationally driven. The handle protrudes downward from the housing and has a trigger. A rotation axis of a motor shaft extends in parallel to the driving axis on a lower side of the driving axis. A virtual plane including the driving axis and the rotation axis passes a center of the handle in a left-right direction. The trigger is disposed between the rotary member and a motor body in the front-rear direction.
