Device and Method for Checking and Correcting the Position of an Operating Device With Respect to a Piece
A device and method for monitoring and correcting the position and orientation of an operating device (2) with respect to a piece (P). A measuring device (5) including a plurality of sensors (505) connected to the operating device is used to measure through contactless technology the distances of the sensors from a surface (π) of the piece along respective directions (l, r, s) having given orientations. The sensor measurements are compared to predetermined desired values and the position of the operating device (2) is selectively changed to maintain a desired positional relationship between a main operative axis (X1) of the operative device and operation axis (X2) defined by the surface of the piece.
SOUND REDUCTION DEVICE AND JOINING METHOD, AND A PART MACHINING METHOD WITH SOUND INSULATION
A sound reduction device for use in a mechanical machining method or a joining method, in particular a pulse-type joining method. The sound reduction device comprises a clamping device by means of which at least one part to be machined can be clamped at a plurality of clamping locations, as well as a plurality of engagement components which engage the part surface at a number of engagement points, in order to damp vibrations of the part. The present disclosure also describes a joining method and a machining method in combination with the sound reduction device.
Power tool
A power tool includes a motor and a gear speed reducer. The motor has a motor shaft that is rotatable in a normal direction and in a reverse direction. The gear speed reducer is operably coupled to the motor shaft. The gear speed reducer is configured such that a reduction ratio of the gear speed reducer is changed in response to a change of a rotation direction of the motor shaft.
Machining system for aircraft structural components
The disclosure relates to a processing installation for aircraft structural components having a processing station comprising a clamping frame for receiving the structural component, wherein the clamping frame extends along a station longitudinal axis which extends in a longitudinal direction and a processing unit which has an upper tool unit having an upper tool and a lower tool unit, wherein the processing installation has a processing region which is formed by a laterally delimited, first spatial portion in which the clamping frame and the processing unit are arranged during processing, wherein the processing installation has a service region for carrying out service operations, wherein the first spatial portion is separated from the second spatial portion in a transverse direction, wherein a service platform is arranged in the service region and can be positioned in a service plane which is orthogonal to the vertical direction.
