A casting mold making apparatus and a method employing a tank with a pour hole formed at a bottom wall of the tank and an opening section open toward the opposite side to a bottom wall side. A first process of the method includes stirring component materials inside the tank with a stirring impeller so as to make a foam mixture while an opening section side of the tank is closed and the pour hole is closed. The second process is performed after the first process and includes opening the pour hole, pressing the tank against a mold such that a fill hole formed so as to pass into the mold is disposed adjacent to the pour hole, and supplying compressed air into the tank while stirring the foam mixture inside the tank with the stirring impeller so as to fill the foam mixture into a cavity of the mold.

A flaskless molding machine comprises: an upper flask; a lower flask; an upper sand tank disposed above the upper flask; an upper plate attached to a lower end of the upper sand tank, with a supply port being formed in the upper plate, and configured to enter and be retracted from the inside of the upper flask; a first lower sand tank having a first communication port; a second lower sand tank disposed below the lower flask having a second communication port capable of communicating with the first communication port; a lower plate attached to an upper end of the second lower sand tank, with a supply port being formed in the lower plate, and configured to enter and be retracted from the inside of the lower flask; a drive unit moving the second lower sand tank; and an adjustment drive unit moving the first lower sand tank.

Molding playback means reads out the sequence control program from the storage unit to control and drive a first pivot motor and a second pivot motor on the basis of the sequence control program to pivot the conveyor arm and the kneading arm, and then throws the self-hardening foundry sand from the discharge port of the kneading arm into the molding flask to reproduce the molding operation.
