Disclosed herein are refractory coating compositions with improved drying times, defect prevention, and gas permeability and methods for using such refractory coating compositions.
METHOD OF CASTING ANNULAR MEMBER
A method of casting an annular member is provided. The method includes preparing a sand mold. The method further includes clamping the sand mold between at least two plates. The method further includes rotating the sand mold. The method further includes introducing molten cast material into the sand mold during rotation of the sand mold.
CENTRIFUGAL CASTING
A centrifugal casting apparatus comprising an upper portion into which molten material is poured, the upper portion having a central rotational axis about which the apparatus is rotated; at least one block runner is connected to the upper portion at the proximal end of the block runner and to at least one mould at the distal end of the block runner, the block runner being mounted substantially perpendicular to the axis of rotation; and wherein the moulds are oriented substantially parallel to the axis of rotation of the centrifugal casting apparatus.

METHOD OF PRODUCING METAL STRANDS AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING METAL STRANDS
The invention relates to a method of producing elongate metal strands or fibres with a crucible, the method comprising the steps of; directing molten metal through a nozzle having a nozzle direction in a deposition direction at a regulated pressure difference between the inside and the outside of the crucible; depositing said molten metal from said nozzle on a rotating planar surface having an axis of rotation; entraining said molten metal in one plane via said rotating planar surface to form elongate metal strands, wherein said rotating surface is aligned at an alignment angle, to the deposition direction during the entraining of the molten metal; cooling said elongate metal strands to form solidified metal strands; and guiding said metal strands to collecting means to collect the solidified metal strands formed on the rotating planar surface.
Tubular shape casting apparatus
A system for casting a length of a pole of a tubular shape with molten metal. The system comprises a crucible for containing the molten metal; a pouring spout fluidly connected to the crucible; and a plunger for plunging in the crucible to increase level of the molten metal in the crucible and thereby forcing a flow of the molten metal from the crucible to the pouring spout. The system further comprises a casting ring for receiving the molten metal poured out of the pouring spout; a motor for rotating the casting ring; a cooling assembly for cooling the molten metal; and a pulling assembly for pulling the pole out of and away from the casting ring as the molten metal solidifies.

Water-cooled centrifugal pipe casting machine
A water-cooled centrifugal pipe casting machine includes a sector ladle tilting system, a pouring runner, a pipe mold and a pipe removing device. The pipe mold is provided to a travel system, and rotation of the pipe mold is controlled by a pipe mold rotating system. By using a servo motor driving the sector ladle tilting system, by using a parallel four-bar linkage structure tilting a sector ladle, and by using a variable frequency motor controlling the movements of a rack and a gear of a travel driving system, a constant amount of hot metal flowing out of the sector ladle per unit time can be ensured and a constant traveling speed of the centrifugal pipe casting machine are achieved. As such, uniformity of the wall thickness of the casting pipes can be ensured, the quality thereof can be improved, and materials required can be saved.
