The invention relates to a method and a device for casting a melt 4 of a metallic material by means of a furnace 2 of a low pressure casting device, which furnace 2 has a receiving space 3 and a riser tube protruding into said receiving space 3. By pressurizing the receiving space 3 with compressed air, the melt 4 in the riser tube 12 of the furnace 2 is pressed into a mold cavity 10 of a mold 7, wherein simultaneously, a magnetic field acting against the conveying direction 23 of the melt 4 is applied to the melt 4 of the metallic material by means of a magnetic element 16 arranged in the region of the riser tube 12.

According to an embodiment, there is provided a tilt casting mold that includes a cope and a drag, in which when the cope and the drag are combined, a predetermined cavity is formed therein and a riser is formed on a side of the cavity; a pouring cup is coupled to a surface having the riser of the drag; molten material is poured in the pouring cup and then the molten metal in the pouring cup is injected into the cavity by tilting the mold assembly composed of the cope, the drag, and the pouring cup.

The heating method further includes a step of heating the casting mold by supplying molten metal into the cavity portion set at the second pressure, and solidifying the molten metal.

The external chamber (45) is evacuated and a pressurized gas is injected into the evacuated external chamber (45) to create a pressurized external chamber (45). An ingot (20) is melted within the crucible utilizing induction heating generated by the induction coil (15). The internal chamber (40) is evacuated to create an evacuated internal chamber (40). The titanium alloy material of the ingot (20) is completely transferred into the mold (30) from the crucible (10) using a pressure differential created between the external chamber (45) and the internal chamber (40).
