COMPOSITE MATERIAL
According to an aspect of the present disclosure, a composite material includes: a primary phase which is an alloy including a metallic element M and a nonmetallic element X and of which at least a portion is an amorphous phase; and a secondary phase which is dispersed in the primary phase and includes a ceramic compound including the metallic element M and the nonmetallic element X and represented by M.sub.aX.sub.b (wherein a and b are each greater than 0).
ONE-PIECE CLAMP ASSEMBLY FOR WINDOW COVERING
A one-piece clamp assembly for a window covering is disclosed. The window covering consists of a left side portion and right side portion connected to a moveable hinge portion. The left side portion comprises a plurality of rounded extrusions and at least one vertical rounded extrusion that securely mates into a hole or slot on the right side portion. The left side portion further comprises extruded walls that mate with single and double spikes found on the right side portion. The extruded portions and mating spikes provide for a secure connection of the clamp assembly to the window covering. A connecting slot is placed on either the left or ride side portion, enabling the clamp assembly to fasten to a head rail fastener of a window covering.

ISOSTATIC PRESSURE SPARK PLASMA SINTERING (IP-SPS) NET SHAPING OF COMPONENTS USING NANOSTRUCTURED MATERIALS
A method of forming a consolidated component having a complex shape includes providing a first component having a first shape similar to the complex shape. The method further includes placing the first component in a chamber and surrounding the first component with a medium. The method further includes applying pressure and at least one of heat or electricity into the chamber to process the first component to form a consolidated component having the complex shape.

Method for producing a sintered component and a sintered component
A method of making sintered components made from an iron-based powder composition and the sintered component per se. The method is especially suited for producing components which will be subjected to wear at elevated temperatures, consequently the components consists of a heat resistant stainless steel with hard phases including chromium carbo-nitrides. Examples of such components are parts in turbochargers for internal combustion engines.
POLYMER JACKETED POWDER CORE PROJECTILE
A method is disclosed for coating a projectile for use in an ammunition cartridge. A polymer jacket is applied to an undersized projectile core of a first standard caliber to bring the outer dimensions of the jacketed projectile into compliance with those of a second, larger caliber projectile. The polymer jacket coating may produce a non-uniform outer diameter of the polymer jacketed projectile and may include a plurality of circular cavities defined therein. The polymer-jacketed projectile may be a bullet for pistol or rifle ammunition, or a pellet, or shot for use in a shotgun shell.
Paramagnetic hard stainless steel and manufacturing process thereof
A paramagnetic stainless steel with a chemical composition including by weight: 26≤Cr≤40%, 5≤Ni≤20%, 0≤Mn≤5%, 0≤Al≤5%, 0≤Mo≤3%, 0≤Cu≤2%, 0≤Si≤5%, 0≤Ti≤1%, 0≤Nb≤1%, 0≤C≤0.1%, 0≤N≤0.1%, 0≤S≤0.5%, 0≤P≤0.1%, the remainder consisting of iron and any impurities each having a content less than or equal to 0.5%, the steel having a hardness HV10 between 500 and 900. It also relates to a part particularly a horological component made of this steel and to the process for manufacturing the part.
Method of manufacturing nickel based super alloy parts
There is provided a method of treating a nickel base super alloy (NiSa) article. First, the NiSa article having fine grains is obtained. The NiSa article has a uniform distribution of the fine grains and substantially uniform mechanical properties throughout. One or more regions within the NiSa article are mechanically deformed. Then, the NiSa article is heat treated to obtain coarse grains in the one or more regions, the coarse grains having a size that is larger than that of the fine grains of the NiSa article outside of the one or more regions.
