Clamping device for holding a collet
11033971 · 2021-06-15 · ·

A clamping device includes a first clamping segment which has a first mounting flange and a tubular member extending axially away therefrom. A first bore extends through the first mounting flange and the tubular member. The first mounting flange is configured for attachment to a rotatable spindle of a machine tool. The clamping device includes a draw bar assembly which has an axially extending elongate shaft. The elongate shaft extends through the first bore of the first clamping segment. A biasing unit is mounted on or in the tubular member. A locking member is removably secured to the elongate shaft such that the biasing unit is compressed between the locking member and a portion of the first clamping segment. The biasing member remains compressed when the first clamping segment is separated from the spindle of the machine tool.

Chuck device

A chuck device includes: a cylindrical chuck including a first contact part on a first side and a second contact part on a second side, and configured to hold a bar-like workpiece; a tubular outer cylinder including a restriction part configured to restrict axial movement of the chuck by abutting on the first contact part; and a sleeve provided in an axially movable manner on the inner peripheral side of the outer cylinder, and including, on the first side, a pressing part axially driven to abut on the second contact part. The chuck includes a first tapered face in the first contact part, and a second tapered face in the second contact part. A first angle between the first tapered face and a center axis is equivalent to a second angle between the first tapered face and the center axis, or is smaller than the second angle.

A cutter holder includes a body, a collet, a cutter, and a fastening cap. The cutter is inserted into the collet. The collet is assembled on the body with the cutter. The fastening cap is mounted on the body, and the cutter protrudes from the fastening cap. The body has a fastening portion; the collet has an annular groove. The fastening portion has a fastening portion end face. The annular groove has a first face. The fastening portion end face and the first face are separated by a distance. By means of confining the distance between the fastening portion end face and the first face, a contact area between the body and the collet is increased to enhance the clamping force. Accordingly, the cutter holder can firmly clamp the collet for precise machining.

JIG FOR REFLECTION DEVICE AND ASSEMBLY INCLUDING THE SAME

A jig for a reflection device includes a collet having a skirt portion with an expandable outer diameter and a locking head on one end of the skirt portion, a sleeve into which the collet is inserted and one side of which is supported by being caught by the locking head, and an expansion pin inserted into the collet and expanding the outer diameter of the skirt portion.
