POSITIONING CUTTER ASSEMBLY AND POSITIONING COLLET ASSEMBLY
A positioning cutter/collet assembly has a cutter/collet and a magnetic attracting position key. The cutter/collet has a cutter/collet key seat recessed in an external annular surface thereof. The magnetic attracting position key is mounted on and magnetically attracts the cutter/collet key seat. The magnetic attracting position key has a body having a protruding rod and a magnetic attracting portion combined with the body and magnetically attracting the cutter/collet to prevent the magnetic attracting position key from separating from the cutter/collet.

Damping elements for tool chucking systems
Damping elements for tool chucking systems for damping vibrations and shocks that occur during machining in the case of force-fitting clamping of tools in a tool receptacle or on the tool itself. At least one damping element consisting of a shape memory alloy having a mechanical effect is provided in a tool chucking system or on the tool itself, such that the damping element provided in the chucked state in the force flow of the chucked elements is present in a reversible and hysteresis-dependent state by way of a mechanical force action and the associated crystalline conversion via the pretensioning of said damping element and leads to dissipation of mechanical energy. The mechanical energy to be damped is a cyclical vibration or represents a non-cyclical overload which is transmitted in the form of shocks.
Tool holder
A tool holder includes a collet configured to be clamped to the shank of a tool and a pull-out protection element configured to secure the tool against being pulled out of the collet. The pull-out protection further includes a protection element such that pull-out forces acting on the tool are transmitted to the collet. The protection element is mounted so as to be moveable relative to the collet and has a wedge-shaped configuration as well as force-transmission surface. When the protection element is in a radially inner engaged position with the tool, the protection element is configured to be clamped to the cool and the collet so as to be self locking.
COLLET AND DRIVESHAFT INTERFACE FOR SURGICAL DRIVER ACCESSORY
A wire or pin driver for a rotary surgical tool includes a driveshaft having a bore and extending along a longitudinal axis and a collet forming a cannula. The cannula extends from a proximal engagement portion disposed in the bore to a distal gripping end configured to engage an elongated shaft. At least one retaining insert extending between and engaging the proximal engagement portion of the collet and the driveshaft in the bore.
