Core drill bit
A core drill bit 1 includes a tubular shaft 12, a mounting platform 31 provided on a proximal end of the tubular shaft 12 for mounting the core drill bit on a power tool 26, and an annular cutting section 2 provided with abrasive cutting segments 3 arranged at a distal end of the tubular shaft 12. A first transponder 24 is provided at the distal end of the tubular shaft 12. A repeater 28 is provided comprising a second transponder 29 at the proximal end of the tubular shaft 12, an antenna 33 facing the first transponder 24, and a wired connection 34 between the antenna 33 and the repeater 28.
Drill and method of manufacturing drill
According to one implementation, a drill has at least one cutting edge. A projected shape of a passing area of a ridgeline of the at least one cutting edge when the at least one cutting edge is rotated around a tool axis becomes a line-symmetric and discontinuous line along a parabola, two parabolas, an ellipse or two ellipses. The projected shape is drawn on a projection plane parallel to the tool axis.

Cutting Tool
A cutting tool 1 has cutting edges 2 formed by a plurality of side surfaces on both sides 21, 22 raised at a side portion along a longitudinal direction, and the cutting tool 1 in which a coolant passage pipe 30 is extended around a rotation center axis 5, and coolant passage pipes 31 branched from the extended coolant passage pipe 30 are projected along a direction of a raised side surface 21 on a rotating direction side of the raised side surfaces on both sides 21, 22.
Drill bit for drilling laminates
A drill bit for drilling laminates includes at least two main chip flutes separated by corresponding webs. The free end faces of the webs form relief surfaces. At least one secondary flute, which is formed in the periphery of each of the webs divides the web into a main and a secondary web. A main cutting edge is formed by the intersection of a main chip flute and a relief surface on the main web. A secondary cutting edge is formed by the intersection of the secondary flute with a relief surface on the secondary web following the main cutting edge in the direction of operation, the main cutting edges extending to the nominal radius of the drill. The secondary cutting edges terminate at a distance before the nominal radius and axially project from the main cutting edge by an axial overhang at least along their radially outer section.
Drill bit
A drill bit has a shank, an intermediate shaft, and a cutting head and defines a longitudinal axis. The cutting head has a body having a front end, a rear end, and a peripheral sidewall, a primary cutting insert and a pair of auxiliary cutting inserts. The primary cutting insert is cross-shaped with a central portion with a cutting tip and four cutting arms each with a cutting edge extending radially outward from the central portion past the peripheral sidewall. The auxiliary cutting inserts are spaced radially outward from the central portion and circumferentially from the radial cutting arms, and have a cutting edge extending radially outward past the peripheral sidewall. A pair of primary dust egress slots and a pair of auxiliary dust egress slots are formed in the peripheral sidewall and configured to channel debris from the front end to the rear end of the body.
