A tool with a transmission having a reduction gearset and a speed selector. The speed selector has a member, an actuator and a shifter assembly. The member is movable between a first position, in which the member is non-rotatable, and a second position in which the member is coupled to a planet carrier of the reduction gearset for common rotation. The actuator includes a pivoting yoke and a follower that is coupled to the yoke. The follower engages the member so as to be axially movable with the follower. The shifter assembly has a selector switch, a switch fork, and a pair of springs. The selector switch is slidable between a first switch position and a second switch position. The shift fork is slidably coupled to the selector switch and receives the yoke. The springs cooperate to bias the shift fork relative to the selector switch into a neutral position.

The clutch device comprises a return elastic member, a transmission assembly and a rotating portion, wherein the transmission assembly comprises at least two oppositely arranged engagement portions; the engagement between the two engagement portions enables a front body and a rear body to rotate synchronously; the rotation of the rotating portion in a first direction enables the return elastic member to be compressed, such that the two engagement portions are disconnected; and the rotation of the rotating portion in a second direction enables the compressed return elastic member to return to an initial position such that the two engagement portions are engaged. The drill chuck comprises a front body, a rear body, clamping jaws and the clutch device; and the power tool comprises a driving shaft and the drill chuck.

The housing end part (9) comprises a wall part (17) arranged transversally to the longitudinal axes (6, 15) and is adapted to close the gear unit cavity (11) and to separate the electric motor (4) from the gear unit cavity (11).

A spindle apparatus for use at a machine tool, having: an assembly including a workpiece spindle to receive an elongated workpiece and a motor for driving spindle rotation of the workpiece spindle about a spindle axis; a rotary guide-bush assembly being axially arranged with the workpiece spindle with respect to the spindle axis, the rotary guide-bush assembly receiving the elongated workpiece supported at the rotary guide-bush assembly to rotate about the spindle axis enabling movement of the elongated workpiece; wherein the rotary guide-bush assembly includes a portion to clamp the elongated workpiece, received in the rotary guide-bush and in the workpiece spindle, to transfer driving torque applied from the spindle motor during a driven acceleration of the rotation through the clamped elongated workpiece for rotation of the rotary guide-bush synchronized with the driven acceleration of the rotation of the workpiece spindle.

The present invention provides, in an embodiment, a gear-shifting structure of power equipment, the gear-shifting structure comprising: first and second gears having shafts concentric with a first shaft, respectively, the first and second gears being positioned at different locations along the axial direction of the first shaft, the first and second gears having protrusions formed thereon, respectively, and the first and second gears freely rotating with regard to the first shaft; a clutch disposed concentrically with the first shaft between the first and second gears, the clutch being spline-coupled to the first shaft, and the clutch having engaging members formed thereon so as to protrude toward the first and second gears, respectively; an adjustment member configured to move the clutch toward the first gear or the second gear; a second shaft; and third and fourth gears having shafts concentric with the second shaft, respectively, the third and fourth gears being disposed to engage with the first and second gears and to rotate together with the second shaft. The engaging members of the clutch engage with the protrusion of the first gear or the second gear by means of the adjustment member.
