Such a clamping device is suitable in clamping systems by means of which large to very large workpiece carriers can be clamped in the work area of a machine tool in a repeatably accurate manner.

The method includes the steps of providing an adhesive strip with a drill guide hole portion extending therefrom; positioning the adhesive strip on a surface; releasably mounting the adhesive strip to the surface; inserting a drill bit attached to a drill motor into the drill guide hole portion; drilling a hole through the drill guide hole portion and into the surface beneath it; and removing the adhesive strip from the surface after the hole has been drilled.

The first supporting member and the second supporting member are at least partially overlapped with the jaw in an axial direction of the drive shaft, such that the power tool is structurally compact in the axial direction. The main body is provided with an accommodation cavity therein. The first supporting member is positioned in the accommodation cavity, such that the tool is also structurally compact in a radial direction.
