MACHINE TOOL, IN PARTICULAR LATHE WITH AUXILIARY SPINDLE
Machine tool such as a lathe has a machine frame 110 having an upper tool carrier support portion 113, a lower tool carrier support portion 114 and a spindle carrier portion arranged between the upper and lower tool carrier support portions. A spindle carrier, is arranged on or at a height of the spindle carrier portion of the machine frame 110, supporting a main spindle 121 configured to receive a workpiece, and a plurality of tool carriers, each tool carrier being supported on a tool carrier assembly 150 being arranged on either the upper tool carrier support portion 113 or the lower tool carrier support portion 114 of the machine frame 110, wherein the machine tool also includes an auxiliary spindle carrier 130 arranged on the spindle carrier portion of the machine frame 110, for supporting an auxiliary spindle 131 configured to receive and guide a workpiece for parallel machining.
WORKPIECE PROCESSING ASSEMBLY WITH MULTIPLE WORKING OPERATIONS
A workpiece processing assembly with multiple working operations includes a working platform, a first positioning device disposed thereon, a second positioning device situated relative to the first positioning device, a first turning device situated beside the first positioning device, a second turning device situated beside the second positioning device, and a controlling device. The turning devices each are equipped with at least two processing tools. A first transverse slide rail disposed on the working platform serves to adjust the distance between the positioning devices, thereby clamping at least one workpiece firmly. Two longitudinal slide rails respectively disposed on the working platform serve to adjust the distance between each turning device and each corresponding positioning device, thereby moving the processing tools to a proper processing position. Thus, the inconvenience caused by replacing the processing tools during the turning process is prevented, and the processing efficiency is greatly increased.
Machine tool, in particular lathe
A machine tool, in particular a lathe, including a machine frame having an upper tool carrier support portion, a lower tool carrier support portion and a spindle carrier portion arranged between the upper and lower tool carrier support portions, a spindle carrier, being arranged on or at a height of the spindle carrier portion of the machine frame, supporting a main spindle configured to receive a workpiece W, the main spindle having a horizontally arranged spindle axis, one or more tool carriers, each tool carrier being supported on a tool carrier assembly being arranged on either the upper tool carrier support portion or the lower tool carrier support portion of the machine frame. Wherein a lower side-surface of the lower tool carrier support portion, to which the one or more tool carriers are mountable, is arranged to have an overhanging inclination.
MACHINE TOOL AND DRAG FRAME CONVEYOR FOR FEEDING/REMOVING WORKPIECES
A machine tool comprises a machine frame, a first spindle having a first workholder rotatable about a first axis, a second spindle having a second workholder rotatable about a second axis, a first tool carrier for machining one side of a workpiece in the first spindle, and a second tool carrier for machining a different side of a workpiece in the second spindle. The second spindle is arranged on a spindle carrier movable relative to the machine frame, using a carriage system, in parallel with and transversely to the first axis. The second workpiece spindle is pivotal on the spindle carrier, using a pivoting device, about a pivot axis that extends perpendicularly to a movement plane. The second tool carrier is positioned on a guide carriage movable relative to the machine frame in parallel with the pivot axis. A drag frame conveyor is provided to feed or transport workpieces.
LATHE WITH TOOL UNIT MOUNTED THERETO
A technology capable of improving machining performance of a lathe is provided. A first attaching position and a second attaching position are adjacent to each other in a tool unit attaching direction perpendicular to a spindle axis direction. A second tool unit attached to the second attaching position is of a shape avoiding an area that a spindle possibly occupies relatively with respect to a first tool unit working on the workpiece. When a rotary tool unit is attached to one of the first attaching position and the second attaching position, a machining point of the second tool unit working on the workpiece is deviated to the side of the spindle in the spindle axis direction from the rotational center of the rotary tool unit across the turret surface.
MACHINE TOOL, IN PARTICULAR A LATHE, AND METHOD FOR MACHINING WORKPIECES USING A MACHINE TOOL
The present application relates to a machine tool, in particular a lathe or a turn mill machine, having at least one work spindle provided to receive a workpiece, and a first and second milling unit being configured to jointly machine the workpiece received by the at least one work spindle. Two or more or preferably each tool carrier assembly accommodated by the upper and lower tool carrier support portions and each preferably having a milling unit, is configured to independently move a tool carried thereon in one or more linear directions.
Machine tool
A machine tool can perform a turning process using a fixed tool and a milling process using a rotating tool. The machine tool includes: a tool spindle having an air supply portion, for rotating the rotating tool; a lower tool rest for mounting a plurality of fixed tools thereon; a tool holder having a tapered surface restraining a tool, and attached to the lower tool rest, for detachably holding the tool; an automatic tool changer; and a special tool mounted on the tool spindle, into which the air is introduced from the air supply portion. When the tool is automatically changed by the automatic tool changer, the special tool mounted on the tool spindle is coupled to the tool holder, and the air from the air supply portion is supplied to the tapered surface through the special tool.
MACHINE TOOL, TOOL UNIT, AND MACHINING METHOD
A tool unit includes a base that is mountable on and demountable from a first turret, a slider that is disposed on the base, holds a cutting tool in a state in which a direction of the linear cutting blade of the cutting tool is inclined with respect to a Z-direction by a predetermined angle when seen from an X-direction, and is able to move in a Y-direction perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to both the X-direction and Z-direction, and a drive transmission that is disposed on the base and is connected to a tool drive unit to move the slider.
