Device for Transmitting Torque from a Drill to a Drill Bit
A device for transmitting a torque produced by a drill to a drill bit includes a shank and a tool fitting. The shank has a first outer conical region, a groove region, and a second outer conical region and has longitudinal grooves. The tool fitting has a basic body which has a rotary driving region with outer rotary driving grooves, an intermediate element which has an inner driver region with inner rotary drivers and an outer driver region with outer rotary drivers, and a locking device. In the connected state, the inner rotary drivers engage in the longitudinal grooves and the outer rotary drivers engage in the outer rotary driving grooves. Lower rotary drivers are arranged on the base surface of the intermediate element where the lower rotary drivers, in the connected state, interact with lower rotary driving grooves in the rotary driving region of the basic body.

Replaceable tool head having serrated coupling portions and a tool holder therefor
A tool head has a longitudinal axis, forward and rearward ends, and top, bottom and peripheral surfaces. The peripheral surface has first and second side walls provided with respective first and second serrated portions, each of the first and second side walls being divided into spaced apart top and bottom side wall portions. The peripheral surface also has a stopper wall which faces in the rearward direction, extends transversely to the second side wall and is provided with a stopper serrated portion. A rear wall formed at the rearward end and connects the first and second side walls. The tool head also includes an insert retaining portion proximate the forward end, and a coupling portion which extends in the direction of the rearward end and includes vertically spaced apart top and bottom coupling arms separated by a coupling recess opening out to the rear wall.
Rivet fastener apparatus
A method and rivet apparatus to rivet a workpiece comprises an upper riveting portion and a lower riveting portion. The lower riveting portion comprising a fixed base, support member, and a pin assembly. The pin assembly comprises a center pin, a forming pin, a first biasing member, an outer shroud, and a second biasing member. The center pin pushes against a tail of a rivet to deform the tail of the rivet. The forming pin, fixedly coupled to the support member, pushes against the tail of the rivet to deform the tail of the rivet. The first biasing member, disposed below the center pin, biases the center pin through the forming pin and away from the support member. The outer shroud encircles the forming pin and the center pin. The second biasing member, disposed below the outer shroud, biases the outer shroud away from the support member.
Tool holder assembly and method of manufacturing a tool holder
Tool holder for a tool for machining workpieces, with a tool holder body, which defines a longitudinal axis, on which a tool mount for securing a tool is formed and on which a tool holder interface for fixating the tool holder to a holder shaft is formed, wherein the tool holder interface comprises: a tool holder plane surface oriented transversely to the longitudinal axis, against which a holder shaft plane surface can abut to establish a defined relative position in longitudinal direction between the tool mount and the holder shaft, a tool holder cone section, which is polygonal in a cross-section and which can engage with a correspondingly polygonal holder shaft cone section to establish a defined relative position in tangential direction between the tool mount and the holder shaft, and a tool holder cylinder section which can act together with a corresponding holder shaft cylinder section.
CUTTING TOOL ASSEMBLY
A cutting tool assembly includes a first tool part and a second tool part. The first tool part has a forward end portion including a cutting edge and a rearward end portion having a conical section and an engagement section. The second tool part includes a conical recess and a clamping device rearwards the conical recess. The clamping device is provided in a transversal cavity of the second tool part and has a first clamp block, a second clamp block and a differential screw engaging the first and second clamp blocks. The first and second clamp blocks engage the engagement section of the first tool part to pull the first tool part into the conical recess when the first and second clamp blocks are moved towards each other by the differential screw protruding rearwards from the first and second clamp blocks.
