The first sleeve member is movable relative to the rod body in the axial direction to drive the push rod to move. The second sleeve member is co-movably sleeved to the first sleeve member, and the first sleeve member is partially embedded within an inner peripheral wall of the second sleeve member. The first sleeve member has a first hardness, and the second sleeve member has a second hardness which is smaller than the first hardness.

The guide washer includes, on its front surface, a projection toward the pressure ring to cause, with the pressure ring at the locked position, the guide washer to be inclined with respect to an axis of the tool holder for a first ball to move more backward than a second ball.

The positioning member is selectively inserted into the through hole. An end of the hook member is connected to the sliding member, and the other end has a hook portion for grasp the tool bit. When the positioning member is moved inward and the sliding member is moved toward the funnel-shaped opening, the hook portion is swingable in the funnel-shaped opening to release the tool bit.

The system includes an elongate drill arbor configured at a first end to be clamped in a drill chuck of a drill, and a hole saw adapter provided with a longitudinal bore in which the drill arbor can be received so that an inner surface of the longitudinal bore of the hole saw adapter is mounted slidably on an outer surface of the drill arbor in the longitudinal direction of the drill arbor. The drill arbor includes an actuator member and at least one retaining element co-acting therewith. The inner surface of the longitudinal bore of the hole saw adapter is provided with a recess into which the retaining element of the drill arbor can protrude.

The surgical apparatus may find particular use with irrigation fluid, suction, and powering of a surgical tool. The passage may include a cutting blade retention assembly integrated in the passage.
