POWER TOOL
A power tool includes a chuck device for clamping a working component. The chuck device includes a locking mechanism, an operation member, a connection shaft, a driving assembly, and a stopper member. The locking mechanism implements a locking function. The operation member is operable to allow the locking mechanism to leave a locking position and is detachably connected to the connection shaft. The driving assembly drives the locking mechanism to be in the locking position. The stopper member is configured to limit the driving assembly.
CHUCK STRUCTURE
Provided is a chuck structure, which is configured to chuck an annular workpiece from a radially outer side of the workpiece. The chuck structure includes: leaf spring members arranged at a predetermined pitch along a circumferential direction of the chuck structure so as to be symmetrical with respect to a mechanism center axis; chuck claw members mounted to distal ends of the leaf spring members, respectively; and a pressing force applying mechanism configured to apply a force of pressing the leaf spring members radially inward, to thereby elastically press the chuck claw members onto a radially outer surface of the workpiece.
Hand-held Power Tool Comprising a Locking Device
A hand-held power tool includes a tool receiver that includes a tubular tool holder configured to lock an insert tool therein by an assigned locking device via at least one locking element. The locking device includes a pressure sleeve that is spring-loaded via an assigned spring element, and a stop sleeve, the stop sleeve having a contact surface on its inner circumference, and the spring-loaded pressure sleeve pressing the at least one locking element in a locking position against the contact surface. The tubular tool holder has at least one recess in which the at least one locking element in the locking position is located, at least portionally, the at least one recess having a ramp-type guideway. The at least one locking element is displaceable along the ramp-type guideway from the locking position to an unlocking position.
Driver Shaft Support Assemblies, Setup Assemblies, and Cutting Assemblies
Driver support assemblies to work in concert with a setup assembly are provided. Setup assemblies to work in concert with a driver support assembly and a cutting assembly are provided. Cutting assemblies configured to work in concert with a driver support assembly are provided. Driver tip cutting assemblies are provided. Methods for cutting the tip of a driver shaft are provided.
Chuck with automatic jaw adjustment
Various chucks for use with a power driver having a rotatable drive spindle are provided. One chuck includes a plurality of jaws disposed at a forward end of the chuck, a body, a push plate, a jaw spring, and a nut. The plurality of jaws may be disposed in the body and configured to rotate with the body about a center axis of the chuck. The push plate may be operably coupled to each of the jaws. The jaws may be configured to translate forward to close the jaw opening in response to the push plate translating axially forward. The jaw spring may be configured to apply a forward directed force to urge the push plate forward. The nut may have nut teeth that cause the jaws to translate forward and clamp onto the working bit in response to the nut being rotated in a tightening direction.
Clutch Device, Drill Chuck, Power Tool, and Bidirectional Rotation Method of Drill Chuck
Disclosed are a clutch device, a drill chuck, a power tool, and a bidirectional rotation method of the drill chuck. The clutch device comprises a return elastic member, a transmission assembly and a rotating portion, wherein the transmission assembly comprises at least two oppositely arranged engagement portions; the engagement between the two engagement portions enables a front body and a rear body to rotate synchronously; the rotation of the rotating portion in a first direction enables the return elastic member to be compressed, such that the two engagement portions are disconnected; and the rotation of the rotating portion in a second direction enables the compressed return elastic member to return to an initial position such that the two engagement portions are engaged. The drill chuck comprises a front body, a rear body, clamping jaws and the clutch device; and the power tool comprises a driving shaft and the drill chuck.
DRILL CHUCK
A drill chuck having a chuck body connectable to a drill spindle, in which clamping jaws are arranged in guide receptacles which run at an incline to the chuck axis and, for the purpose of opening and closing, are adjustable by a threaded ring arranged so as to be rotatable and axially immovable with respect to the chuck body. A locking device, which is made up of a coaxial circle of locking recesses and of at least one locking member, is engaged with the locking recesses under the force of a locking spring. A locking adjusting, is rotatable to a limited extent between end stops and whose rotation allows the locking member to be adjusted. A latching device forms two latching positions in the circumferential direction. A dampener is arranged between the adjusting sleeve and the component adjacent thereto radially to the inside.
A CHUCK HAVING A LOCKING DEVICE
The chuck comprises a base body (1) having a central axis (12), an outer casing (2) axially fixed but rotatable about the central axis (12) outside the base body (1), the outer casing (2) having inner guides (15) and a plurality of jaws (3) movable along the inner guides (15), a fitting mechanism linking rotations of the outer casing (2) to movements of the jaws (3), and a locking device comprising a ratchet mechanism operated by an outer control sleeve (14). The ratchet mechanism comprises a toothed ring (5) fixed to the base body (1), a pawl fixed to a lever (10) pivotally mounted to the outer casing (2) about a pivot pin (9) parallel to the central axis (12), and an elastic element (28) urging the pawl (6) to engage the toothed ring (5). The control sleeve (14) is rotatable and axially movable in cooperation with a cam (8).
CHUCK ASSEMBLY FOR A ROTARY POWER TOOL
A chuck assembly for a rotary power tool includes a chuck body rotatable about a central axis. The chuck body has a plurality of slots, each oriented at an oblique angle relative to the central axis. The chuck assembly also includes a plurality of jaws, each movable along a respective one of the slots. The chuck assembly also includes a collar coupled to the plurality of jaws. The collar is selectively engageable with the chuck body such that, when engaged, the plurality of jaws are movable along the plurality of slots in response to rotation of the collar.
POWER TOOL CHUCK
A chuck including a chuck body that supports a plurality of jaws. An outer sleeve is axially fixed with respect to the chuck body. A nut is coupled to the outer sleeve, and the nut is movable axially and radially relative to the chuck body. The nut interacts with the jaws such that when the outer sleeve rotates, the nut moves axially and radially relative to the body.
