COLLET
A chuck for use with a rotary power tool having an output spindle. The chuck includes a base and an inner sleeve threadedly coupled to the base. The inner sleeve has a central aperture. A collet is disposed within the central aperture of the inner sleeve and configured to be engaged by a portion of the inner sleeve to be tightened or untightened. The chuck further includes an outer sleeve surrounding the inner sleeve, and a detent member disposed between the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve. The detent member is coupled for co-rotation with the outer sleeve and configured to selectively transmit torque from the outer sleeve to the inner sleeve. When the collet is tightened, rotation of the outer sleeve causes axial displacement of the detent member relative to the inner sleeve as the outer sleeve and the detent member rotate relative to the inner sleeve.
Tool holder
A tool holder for collet chucks, wherein a clamping rotor for applying an axial force to a collet chuck is provided. The clamping rotor, including the two axial bearings of the clamping rotor, are accommodated in a tool holder main part, which is connected to a collet chuck receiving body that receives the collet chuck. In order to captively support the clamping rotor in the main part, a bearing seat element is screwed into the main part, said bearing seat element delimiting a receiving chamber for the clamping rotor towards the collet chuck receiving element. Thus, the clamping rotor is enclosed and held in the main part independently of the collet chuck receiving body. This creates new possibilities for the maintenance and adaptation of the tool holder under different conditions, and in particular the force flow emanating from the clamping rotor during a clamping process is kept away from the collet chuck receiving body, thereby improving the precision of the tool holder.
RAPID CHANGE CHUCK ADAPTER
A rapid change chuck adapter system includes a chuck adapter that is removably attachable to the chuck in place of removed chuck teeth. The chuck adapter is operable to engage a collet such that an operation of the chuck as if the chuck teeth were not removed operates the collet via the chuck adapter.
Tool assembly for a crafting apparatus
A tool assembly includes a housing, a shaft, a spherical member, and a head. The housing defines a shaft channel. The shaft is rotatably disposed within the shaft channel and includes an exposed portion outside of the shaft channel. The exposed portion defines an engagement channel extending through an outer surface of the exposed portion. The spherical member is disposed within the engagement channel. The head is configured to be engaged with the exposed portion of the shaft. The head includes a detent configured to selectively engage the spherical member.

Surgical grip with an internal and spring-biased rotation securing unit
A surgical grip for receiving a handpiece shaft for conjoint rotation therewith and/or for receiving a medical tool in such a way as to transmit torque, includes a carrier sleeve on which at least one coupling component provided for coupling the handpiece shaft is attached such that the at least one coupling component can be brought to a coupled position and to an uncoupled position in the operating state, wherein the at least one coupling component can be brought into contact with an activation unit which is arranged between the carrier sleeve and to an outer actuation sleeve, wherein a rotation securing unit present inside the actuation sleeve acts on the activation unit in a spring-biased manner in the operating state such that the activation unit is held secure against rotation relative to the carrier sleeve.
TOOL HOLDER HAVING A CYLINDRICAL FIXATION BORE EXTENDING REARWARDLY FROM A FRONT FIXATION SURFACE AND A FASTENING BORE INTERSECTING THE FRONT FIXATION SURFACE
A tool holder has a holder body, a first clamping member, and a first fastening member. The holder body includes a fixation portion and a mounting portion located rearward of the fixation portion. The fixation portion has a front fixation surface facing in a forward direction, a cylindrical fixation bore opening out to the front fixation surface and extending rearwardly therefrom, and a longitudinally extending primary slot connecting the fixation bore to a fixation envelope surface. The first clamping member occupies a first clamping bore and traverses the primary slot. The first fastening member occupies a first fastening bore which intersects the first clamping bore and opens out to the front fixation surface. The fixation bore has a fixation bore first primary diameter which decreases and increases when the first fastening member is rotated in first fastening and first unfastening directions about the first fastening member axis, respectively.
