CHUCK STRUCTURE
Provided is a chuck structure, which is configured to chuck an annular workpiece from a radially outer side of the workpiece. The chuck structure includes: leaf spring members arranged at a predetermined pitch along a circumferential direction of the chuck structure so as to be symmetrical with respect to a mechanism center axis; chuck claw members mounted to distal ends of the leaf spring members, respectively; and a pressing force applying mechanism configured to apply a force of pressing the leaf spring members radially inward, to thereby elastically press the chuck claw members onto a radially outer surface of the workpiece.
GRIPPER HAVING AN INTERCHANGEABLE HEAD, AND TOOL COMPRISING SAME
Disclosed is an interchangeable gripper head including: a body defining a longitudinal axis, including a first end intended to be fitted into a nut and a second, free end provided with sectors capable of elastic deformation in a radial direction and intended to receive a removable head; a thrust pin mounted so as to slide along the longitudinal axis inside the body, in a first direction under the effect of a driving force transmitted through the nut by a kinematic connector and in a second direction under the effect of a spring member; and lugs integrally mounted and in a regular angular arrangement on the thrust pin and protruding radially from the surface of the thrust pin through the body of the gripper. The lugs are fixedly arranged in a longitudinal and radial position on the thrust pin by a fixing unit.
Mandrel Assembly for Use With a Rotary Tool
A mandrel assembly may be used with a rotary power tool to provide a reliable and stable connection between the rotary tool and a tool accessory. The mandrel assembly provides a quick-connect/quick-release connection between the tool output shaft and the accessory via a clamping action. In particular, the mandrel assembly is operable to clamp the accessory between a clamping element formed on one end of the mandrel and a collar which surrounds the mandrel and is spring-biased toward the mandrel end.
WORKHOLDING ARBOR FOR GEARS
A workholding apparatus (2) having jaws (5) comprising interchangeable adapter blocks (12) that enable a single workholding apparatus (2) to accommodate workpieces (22) having a range of inner bore diameters.
