Feeding device of hole inspection device
According to one implementation, a feeding device of a hole inspection device having a probe includes an attaching jig, a movement mechanism, and a positioning jig. The probe is inserted into a hole to be inspected of an object in a central axis direction of the hole, for inspecting the hole. The attaching jig attaches the hole inspection device to the feeding device. The movement mechanism linearly reciprocates the hole inspection device together with the attaching jig. The positioning jig positions the movement mechanism to the object. A moving direction of the attaching jig and the hole inspection device is made parallel to the central axis direction of the hole by positioning the movement mechanism.
Adjustable drill jig system and method of use
An adjustable drill jig system for drilling holes in a workpiece includes a first T-shaped element having a stem and a crossbar; a first guide engaged with the stem, the first guide having a stop plate extending perpendicular to the stem; a double bracket having a first channel and a second channel, the first channel to engage with the crossbar; an extension ruler engaged with the second channel of the double bracket and extending away from the cross bar; and a second guide having a drill bushing; the second guide is to engage with the crossbar or the extension ruler for placement of the drill bushing; and the adjustable drill jib system allows for drilling one or more holes in the workpiece.
Jig for firearm lower receiver manufacture
A machining tool assembly is provided for machining a blank to form a firearm lower receiver. The assembly includes a pair of side plates positionable on opposed sides of the blank to capture the blank therebetween. A template plate having a template aperture is adapted to be removeably attachable to the side plates. The template aperture is aligned with a top surface of the blank and is adapted for machining a cavity within the blank having a peripheral contour complimentary to a peripheral contour of the template aperture. A centering mechanism is adapted to be removeably attachable to the template plate, with the centering mechanism including an opening aligned with a corresponding void formed on the blank to align the blank with the template plate.
ROBOTIC DRILL SYSTEM AND METHOD OF DRILLING WITH A ROBOTIC DRILL SYSTEM
A robotic drill system and a method of drilling with a robotic drill system. This includes inserting a tool head of the robotic drill within a hole of a drill template along an initial insertion trajectory with a robotic manipulator arm that is moved by at least one robotic actuator for causing robotic insertion of the tool head. In response to sensing binding of the tool head to a wall of the hole while inserting the tool head along the initial insertion trajectory, the disclosure includes stopping robotic insertion of the tool head and activating a self-centering device of the tool head to reorient the tool head to a corrected alignment of the tool head axis relative to the hole. The self-centering device may include an expandable collet.
METHOD OF JOINING COMPONENTS OF AN AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE
Two components of an aircraft structure are joined by providing a threaded opening in one of them and supporting an alignment insert in that opening. The alignment insert is used to guide drilling of the second component such that a hole is produced which is aligned with the threaded opening, for instance using an alignment projection which physically guides a drill. The alignment insert may then be removed. A fastener is then inserted through that hole and into the threaded opening, then tightened to form the completed joint.
DRILLING GRID, DRILL RIG AND METHOD FOR SUPERVISING AT LEAST ONE OPERATION FOR DRILLING AN AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL PART
Said drilling grid comprises a main body designed to be attached to an aircraft structural part and having through-holes for positioning a machine for drilling the aircraft structural part. It further comprises a wireless communication device configured to communicate with a supervision system and a data processing unit designed to send to the supervision system, via the wireless communication device, information relating to the drilling grid and/or the drilling machine positioned in one of the positioning holes.
Guide assembly for a disc brake
A guide assembly for a disc brake, the guide assembly comprising a bore disposed in a disc brake caliper for receiving a guide pin. The bore comprises a first bore portion with a substantially circular cross-sectional profile and a second bore portion with a substantially circular cross-sectional profile arranged sequentially along the length of the bore and tangentially offset such that the bore is defined by the overlap of the first bore portion and second bore portion and has a lens-shaped cross-sectional profile.
