MACHINE TOOL AND CONTROL DEVICE FOR MACHINE TOOL
A machine tool and a controller for the machine tool that accurately detect a defect in a cutting-off process due to breakage of a cutting-off bit and the like is provided. The machine tool includes: a spindle 110 for holding one end side of a workpiece W; an opposed chuck 131 that is opposed to the spindle 110 and is movable with holding another end side of the workpiece W; and a spindle moving motor 122 for moving the spindle 110. The machine tool or the controller is provided with a load detector 172 for detecting a load of the spindle moving motor 122, and workpiece separation detector 173 for detecting a defect in a cutting-off process from the load in performing a taking out operation.

Semi-automatic pipe cutter
The semi-automatic pipe cutter is an electrically powered pipe cutter. The semi-automatic pipe cutter comprises a pipe cutter wheel, an electric motor, a plurality of wire cleaning brushes, a gearing system, a frame, a left pipe driver, a right pipe driver and a pipe channel.
Mount for firearm assembly and adjustment
A mount for firearm assembly and adjustment includes a firearm engagement portion having a hollow body with at least one recess for receiving a firearm buffer tube therein, and a support member configured to be secured to a support.
Device for cutting extruded plastic profiles to length
A device for cutting a preferably thick-walled, extended pipe to length, has at least one cutting tool and a receiving unit for the cutting tool. The cutting tool is radially movable in relation to the extrusion axis and is rotatable via further means about the pipe to be cut to length, in order to cut the pipe to length. The receiving unit may be connected by means of a receiving disc to a sleeve via a ring element, wherein linear guiding elements are arranged on said sleeve parallel to the extrusion axis, and wherein at least four linear guiding elements are evenly distributed around the circumference of the sleeve.

Rapidly retractable tool support for a pipe machining apparatus
Pipe machining apparatuses, tool supports, and methods of operating pipe machining apparatuses are provided. In one aspect, a pipe machining apparatus includes a frame, a tool carrier coupled to and movable relative to the frame, and a tool support coupled to and movable with the tool carrier relative to the frame. The tool support is adapted to support a tool and move the tool in a first direction toward a pipe at a first increment and move the tool in a second direction away from the pipe at a second increment. The second increment is larger than the first increment.
