Pipe cutting device
A pipe cutting device includes: a body; a pipe fixing part disposed adjacent to a hollow hole of the body and capable of fixing a pipe; a rotating plate coupled to the body so as to be rotatable about a center axis of the hollow hole and connected to a first driving part to be rotationally controlled; a cam coupled to the rotating plate so as to be rotatable about a rotation shaft at a point spaced apart from the center axis; and a cutter part coupled to the rotating plate to rotate together with the rotating plate and to come into contact with the cam such that, according to rotation of the cam, a cutting tip moves forwards and backwards the center axis.
Orthopaedic redressing device
A redressing device (100) for redressing a tapered portion (12) of an orthopaedic implant (10) comprising: a grinding member (110) adapted to engage the tapered portion (12); an adjustable guide element (130) for defining, at least in part, the degree of redressing required for said tapered portion (12) by a user; and a drive shaft (120) for driving movement of said grinding member (110). A device for retaining debris produced during redressing a tapered portion (12) of an orthopaedic implant (12), a surgical kit for redressing a tapered portion (12) of an orthopaedic implant (10) and a method of redressing a tapered portion (12) of an orthopaedic implant (10) are also provided.
PROFILE CUTTING TOOL
A profile cutting tool includes a base, a clamp mounted to the base configured to hold an elongate workpiece, a pivotable frame pivotally mounted to the base, and a workpiece cutting assembly mounted to the pivotable frame and comprising a cutter configured to cut the elongate workpiece held in the clamp. When the pivotable frame pivots with respect to the base, the cutter is configured to move along an arcuate profile cutting path having a first radius.
TOOL HOLDER FOR A MACHINE TOOL
A tool holder for a machine tool, having a retaining component which can be rotated about an axis of rotation and on which a cutting tool is or can be fastened in a releasable manner, wherein the retaining component has at least two plug-in mounts, which are offset in the circumferential direction about the axis of rotation and are intended for receiving a respective cutting tool, having an elongate plug-in shank and a cutting portion, wherein each cutting tool is or can be fixed in the plug-in mount via a separate retaining device, and wherein the cutting tools delimit between them a receiving space for a workpiece which can be machined by the cutting tools together, the cutting tools having their cutting portions facing toward the receiving space.
Pipe cutting tool and methods for use
An apparatus for cutting a pipe has a base comprising a pipe support having at least one set of lower rollers and an upper frame supporting a cutting apparatus and at least one upper roller. The upper frame is moveable relative to the base between an open position in which the pipe may be inserted between the at least one set of lower rollers and the at least one upper roller, and a clamping position in which the pipe is in contact with the at least one set of lower rollers and the at least one upper roller. The cutting apparatus comprises a grooving member configured to provide an annular groove on an outer surface of the pipe, a cutting member configured to cut the pipe, and a chamfering member configured to provide a chamfer on the outer surface of the pipe between a location of the annular groove and a location of the cut in the pipe.
