Twist drill for metal machining
A long twist drill includes a shank and a drill body having a drill tip (16). The twist drill has a length L and an outer diameter D, and has a cemented carbide or high speed steel substrate and a coating of at least one layer. The quota L/D is at least 16. The twist drill has two cutting segments at the tip and two flutes chip. The twist drill is provided with holes for fluid opening in the tip. The twist drill has an axial web thinning angle GAA, which is 40 to 50°. The twist drill further has a web that back tapers such that a web diameter gets smaller in a direction away from the tip towards the shank within an axial distance.
ADJUSTMENT UNIT FOR A GUIDE BAR ON A MACHINING TOOL, AND MACHINING TOOL
An adjustment unit (1) for a guide bar (4) on a machining tool (0), comprising an actuation part (5) and the guide bar (4), wherein the actuation part (5) is connected to the machining tool (0) and directly or indirectly interacts with the guide bar (4) in order to move the guide bar (4) continuously in a radial direction R-R of the machining tool (0) by actuation of the actuation part (5).
BORING DEVICE
A boring device includes: a rotatable body, which has a workpiece holder, a valve seat receiver and a debris passage portion; a laser emitter; a pump and a control unit. The workpiece holder can hold a nozzle body. The valve seat receiver contacts a valve seat of the nozzle body that is held by the workpiece holder. The laser emitter emits a laser beam to an outer wall of the nozzle body to bore injection holes at the nozzle body. The debris passage portion includes a debris passage that is placed on a radially inner side of the valve seat receiver and guides debris formed at the time of boring the injection holes with the laser beam. The pump vacuums the debris through the debris passage. The control unit controls a laser output power of the laser emitter and a suction force of the pump.
METHOD FOR RELOADING A SINGLE-FLUTE DRILL, AND SINGLE-FLUTE DRILL
A method for reloading a single-flute drill comprising a shaft made of a hard metal and a drill head that is connected to the shaft and is made of a hard metal, is characterized by the following steps: removing a worn drill head from the shaft; integrally bonding a new drill head to the shaft.
REUSABLE GUIDE PLATE AND DRILLING TOOL WITH EXCHANGEABLE GUIDE PLATE
An indexable guide plate and an associated drilling tool are described in which the indexable guide plates have very small dimensions but, despite these small dimensions, have a large number of guide surfaces. As a result, the indexable guide plate according to the invention can be used for a long time, even with drilling tools having a small drilling diameter.
Drilling device and method for drilling holes in a window covering fabric package
The invention concerns a drilling device (1) and a method for drilling holes in a stack of material (100). The drilling device is provided with clamping means (23, 26) for clamping the material, a hollow drill (10) with an internal channel and a drive (3) for the hollow drill. The drilling device is further provided with connecting means (4) for cooling means, that are arranged for conducting gas through the internal channel, and suction means (51) for suctioning drilling debris. The drilling shaft is provided with a cut out, that runs in longitudinal direction along the drill shaft and forms a discharge channel for the drilling debris.
The invention also concerns a machine for machining and assembling window coverings, such as pleated blinds, comprising one or more drilling devices according to the invention.
Four-edged drill
The invention relates to a four-edged drill having two long main cutting edges, arranged in a point-symmetric manner with regard to the axis of rotation, which each extend from an outer circumferential cutting corner to a chisel edge in the middle of the drill tip, and two short main cutting edges, arranged in a point-symmetric manner with regard to the axis of rotation, which each extend from an outer circumferential cutting corner in the direction of the middle of the drill tip. According to the invention, each long main cutting edge has an outer partial cutting edge, extending from the cutting corner as far as a shoulder, and an inner partial cutting edge, extending from the shoulder as far as the chisel edge, said inner partial cutting edge having a greater cutting height (Δx) than the outer partial cutting edge and the short main cutting edges.
Single-edge drill for forming a deep hole
A single-edge drill for forming a deep hole is provided which includes a body and a shank. The body has a single chip discharge groove in the outer periphery thereof, and includes a small-diameter portion, and a large-diameter portion having coolant delivery grooves in the outer periphery thereof. The body has a core thickness at the distal end portion of the large-diameter portion. At the other portion of the body, the groove bottom of the chip discharge groove is located beyond the rotation center of the drill such that the body has no core thickness, and when taken perpendicularly to the axial direction of the drill, the cross section of the body has a crescent shape. When a hole is formed with the drill, a supply path for coolant liquid is defined between the outer peripheral surface of the small-diameter portion and the radially inner surface of the hole.
Drilling tool
A drilling tool with improved structure to improve chips discharging performance. The drilling tool comprises a cutting insert 60 having a cutting edge 62 at the front end portion and a main body 10 mounted with the cutting insert 60, further, the drilling tool comprises a hollow discharge channel 12 formed inside the main body 10, and the discharge channel 12 has a curved surface 14 for guiding the chips S in a direction towards the base end portion opposite to the front end portion.
DEEP-HOLE DRILL AND DRILLING TOOL HAVING ONE OR MORE DEPRESSIONS IN THE CUTTING SURFACE
The invention relates to single-lip drills and double-lip drills, in which one or more depressions are formed in the rake face. The depressions according to the invention are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the tool at a distance from the cutting edge and have a positive influence on chip breaking.
