Key clamp
A key clamp for a key cutting apparatus is provided. The key clamp comprises a first jaw and a second jaw. The first jaw comprises an engagement surface having a widthwise dimension and a lengthwise dimension. The engagement surface comprises a first row of serrations, arranged along a lengthwise edge of the engagement surface, and a second row of serrations. The second jaw has an engagement surface comprising a row of serrations for location, in the widthwise dimension, between the first row of serrations in the first jaw and the second row of serrations in the first jaw.
Rotary cutting tool with accurate positioning
A rotary cutting tool includes a rotary tool body, a blade clamp, a cutting insert, a clamp fastener, and an insert fastener, wherein the rotary tool body has an insert pocket to define a bottom positioning face, a first lateral positioning face and a second lateral positioning face. The cutting insert is affixed to the blade clamp via the insert fastener. The first lateral positioning face is orientated opposite to a side cutting edge of the cutting insert. The blade clamp is slid into the insert pocket in an axial direction of the rotary tool body, wherein the blade clamp is coupled by the first and second lateral positioning faces in an interference clamping manner and is retained at the rotary tool body by the clamp fastener. The present invention has the advantages of strong radial impact resistance, high positioning accuracy, high safety concern and long service life.
Procedure For Hardening Slides Of A Perforating Press And The Slides Obtained
The present invention relates to a method of hardening slides of a perforating press comprising providing a steel beam; hardening of the steel beam in a vacuum furnace; tempering the steel beam twice; first straightening of the steel beam at a temperature of 20° C. ± 10° C.; milling of an at least partially continuous sawtooth profile, along a longitudinal direction of the steel beam, on a first side of the steel beam; wherein, after milling the at least partially continuous sawtooth profile on the first side of the steel beam, a second side of the steel beam, lying opposite the first side, is hardened by means of induction currents, after which the steel beam is again tempered twice and after which the steel beam is straightened a second time at a temperature of 20° C. ± 10° C. The invention also relates to a slide for a perforating press hardened according to the method.
TOOL BODY AND A MILLING TOOL
A tool body for a milling tool includes a front end and a rear end between which a center axis and a peripheral envelope surface extend. The tool body is arranged to be rotated in a direction of rotation around the center axis. At least one insert seat is configured to support a cutting insert. A chip pocket is provided in front of the insert seat in the direction of rotation, delimited by a wall surface. A surface pattern including a plurality of first grooves and second grooves is formed on at least a portion of the wall surface. The second grooves intersect the first grooves and each groove of the first grooves and/or each groove of the second grooves has a concave groove profile.
