COMPONENTS OF AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHODS FOR THEIR ASSEMBLY
Various components of an electronic device housing and methods for their assembly are disclosed. The housing can be formed by assembling and connecting two or more different sections together. The sections of the housing may be coupled together using one or more coupling members. The coupling members may be formed using a two-shot molding process in which the first shot forms a structural portion of the coupling members, and the second shot forms cosmetic portions of the coupling members.
Chamfer tool
A chamfer tool which comprises a tool holder. The tool holder extends along a central axis and comprises a plurality of slot-shaped cutting insert receptacles, each having two opposing lateral abutment surfaces and a base abutment surface arranged between the two lateral abutment surfaces and extending transversely thereto. The chamfer tool further comprises a plurality of cutting inserts, which are fixed in the plurality of cutting insert receptacles in a firmly bonded manner, wherein each of the cutting inserts comprises two opposing lateral surfaces, which abut against or are connected in a firmly bonded manner to the two lateral abutment surfaces of the respective cutting insert receptacle, and a lower surface arranged between the two lateral surfaces and extending transversely thereto, wherein the lower surface abuts against or is connected in a firmly bonded manner to the base abutment surface of the respective cutting insert receptacle. The cutting inserts project out of the first cutting insert receptacles both in an axial direction, which is parallel to the central axis of the tool holder, and transversely to the axial direction. Each of the cutting inserts comprises a main cutting edge which is oriented at a first acute angle to the central axis of the tool holder.
MILLING TOOL AND WORKPIECE MACHINING METHOD
A milling tool is configured from a shank part and a head with a cutting edge that is provided on the leading end of the shank part. The head comprises an expanding diameter section, the diameter of which expands gradually from the base end that contacts the shank part in the direction of the leading end, and a decreasing diameter section, the diameter of which gradually decreases from the maximum diameter section in the direction of the leading end. At least one cutting edge is provided on each of the expanding diameter section and the decreasing diameter section.
Router bit with a flared cutting edge
A bearingless groove router bit includes at least one cutting element affixed to a head of the router bit and has a first end spaced from an end of connected shank connected to the head and a second end adjacent to the second end of the head. The cutting element includes a cutting edge extending along the cutting element between the first end to the second end of the cutting element. The cutting edge may include a radial side edge that projects radially inwardly relative to a central axis of the router bit and a straight side edge that extends from an end of the radial side edge outwardly relative to the central axis to minimize tear out during cutting of a groove in a work piece.
CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool includes a grip part and a cutting part. In the grip part and the cutting part, a channel for guiding fluid supplied from the outside to an outflow port is formed. The channel includes: a first channel extending in parallel to a rotational center axis and linearly from an end part of the grip part on an opposite side to the cutting part; and a second channel extending linearly from the first channel toward a cutting edge of a cutting insert. The first channel is formed such that a center axis thereof is decentered so as not to match the rotational center axis.

MILLING TOOL AND WORKPIECE MACHINING METHOD
A milling tool (10) comprises a shank section (12) and a head (14), the head being provided on a tip end side of the shank section and having cutting edges. The head (14) includes an expanding diameter section (14a) and a contracting diameter section (14b), the expanding diameter section gradually increasing in diameter as it spans toward the tip end from a base end portion adjoining the shank section (12), and the contracting diameter section gradually decreasing in diameter as it spans toward the tip end from a maximum diameter section (14c). At least one cutting edge (20, 22) is provided on each of the expanding diameter section (14a) and the contracting diameter section (14b). At least one tip-end cutting edge (32) that extends from the contracting diameter section to a center axis of the milling tool is provided on a tip end portion of the head.
High-feed milling tool
A milling tool having a radial cutting edge for milling high-feed rates. The radial cutting edge having first, second and third sub-edges which extend at angles which are relatively small when formed with a longitudinal axis AL of the milling tool, thereby allowing the high-feed rates.
