Cutting tool
An object of the present invention is to provide a cutting tool capable of expanding a range in which adjustment work can be readily performed and reducing manufacturing cost. Provided is a cutting tool including: a cartridge to which a cutting member having a cutting edge is fixed; a body having at least one cartridge mounting part in which the cartridge is installed; and an adjustment plate installed between walls or a bottom surface constituting the cartridge mounting part and the cartridge, wherein the walls or the bottom surface of the cartridge mounting part has a recessed part for housing the adjustment plate.
Rotary cutting tool
A rotary cutting tool is provided which, although it has a simple configuration, allows the arrangement of each cutting edge to be easily adjusted. A first cartridge mounting seat has an upper wall surface opposing an outer side surface of a cartridge and further has a first recessed part into which a protrusion is inserted and which comes into contact, at a bottom thereof, with a leading end of the protrusion. A second cartridge mounting seat has an upper wall surface opposing an outer side surface of a cartridge and further has a second recessed part into which a protrusion is inserted and which comes into contact, at a bottom thereof, with a leading end of the protrusion. A depth of the second recessed part is greater than a depth of the first recessed part. An amount of protrusion P of the protrusion is equal to or greater than the depth of the second recessed part.

Orbital drilling system and associated methods and apparatuses
Described herein is an orbital drilling system that includes an orbital drilling machine and a cutter. The orbital drilling machine includes a spindle and an eccentric rotation mechanism. The spindle is rotatable about a cutter axis. The eccentric rotation mechanism is coupled to the spindle and configured to orbit the spindle about an orbital axis, offset from the cutter axis. The cutter is co-rotatably coupled to the spindle and comprises a plurality of cutting edges, collectively defining a cutting diameter of the cutter. The cutting diameter of the cutter is adjustable.

ADJUSTABLE FACE MILL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
This invention relates to face milling tools used to create a generally planar/face surface on a workpiece. Embodiments of this invention allow more teeth per unit tool diameter for certain types of cutting insert mounting styles and generally for larger cutting inserts. In particular, this invention allows the aforementioned while keeping manufacturing cost lower than it could be with some other designs, mainly by allowing manufacture of the face mill using larger tools that approach the face mill from mainly or exclusively the axial direction, thus requiring the equipment used to manufacture the cutter body to be a lower cost three-axis machine as compared to four- and five-axis machines that may be otherwise needed. Embodiments of the invention also permit adjustment of the axial positions of multiple cutting inserts and their support pockets by way of adjustment in the face mill manufacturing process. Other embodiments allow the adjustment to be made by the end-user in the field on a case-by-case basis after manufacture of the face mill is complete.
Round wiper tooth and face mill incorporating the same
A milling tool includes a body which is rotatable about a first axis. At least one cutting tooth mounted on the body having a cutting edge for cutting about the first axis. A wiper tooth extends from the mill body. The wiper tooth includes at least at a portion having a peripheral surface about the second axis and the peripheral surface intersects a face surface defining a cutting edge that is round about the second axis for cutting about the first axis. In some embodiments, the peripheral surface, the face surface and the cutting edge are formed on an insert that is mounted the mill body.
