SHEARING DEVICE OF EXTRUSION PRESS
A shearing device of an extrusion press for cutting off a discard includes a first drive device; a means for converting rotational motion generated by the first drive device to linear motion; a shearing-slide drive frame caused to move linearly by the means for converting rotational motion to linear motion, which shearing-slide drive frame is coupled to a shearing slide to which a shearing blade is fixed; a slide part coupled with the shearing-slide drive frame through a link unit; and a second drive device causing the slide part move linearly to cause the shearing-slide drive frame move linearly, wherein the first drive device and the second drive device are arranged in parallel with the means for converting rotational motion to linear motion.
PLATE MATERIAL CUTTING DEVICE
To provide a plate material cutting device of which thickness can be reduced and made compact. A plate material cutting device includes: a first cutting blade fixed to a housing; a second cutting blade that cuts plate material collaboratively with the first cutting blade; and a drive unit that causes the second cutting blade to reciprocally move with respect to the first cutting blade, wherein the drive unit includes: a shaft that is rotatable on a rotational axis; a first motor connected to one end portion of the shaft; a first mechanism that is capable of causing the second cutting blade to reciprocally move with respect to the first cutting blade in conjunction with rotation of the shaft on the rotational axis; and a second mechanism that is capable of supporting a load onto the shaft at a time of cutting plate material.
Electromechanical shears for vertical cutting
The electromechanical vertical cutting shear (1) comprises an electric servomotor (4) combined with a gear reducer (5) at least one shaft (6) bearing one or more spools (7), at least one motion transmission means (8) which is connected to a guillotine (11), and a cutting system comprising at least a pair of knives (12). The electromechanical shear (1) comprises a pulley system (9) for every motion transmission means (8).

Short-circuit shutdown switch
A short-circuit shutdown switch is disclosed having a load current path and a cutting plunger. The load current path has a separating member with a first predetermined cutting zone, a second predetermined cutting zone, and a central section positioned between the first predetermined cutting zone and the second predetermined cutting zone. The cutting plunger is positioned to cut the first predetermined cutting zone and the second predetermined cutting zone.
POWERED THREADED ROD CUTTER
A powered threaded rod cutter configured to perform a cutting operation on a threaded rod includes a first cutting die and a second cutting die, at least the first cutting die including a recess in which a first portion of the threaded rod is at least partly receivable, an electric motor, and a planetary transmission positioned downstream of the electric motor. The powered threaded rod cutter additionally includes a drivetrain for converting a rotational output of the planetary transmission to a pivoting movement of the second cutting die, and a guide against which a second portion of the threaded rod may contact to support the threaded rod to be perpendicular relative to the second cutting die prior to the cutting operation.

Power Tool Accessories for Cutting Elongated Members
A power tool accessory includes a housing having a rear end portion and front end portion; an input shaft at least partially received in the rear end portion, extending along an axis, and configured to be coupled to a tool holder of a rotary power tool; a threaded shaft received in the housing and rotationally driven by the input shaft; a blade holder configured to move along the axis upon rotation of the threaded shaft; and a cutting blade configured to be retained by the blade holder. A workpiece holder is coupled to the front end portion of the housing and is configured to hold an elongated member. Upon rotation of the input shaft, the threaded shaft rotates, causing the blade holder to move axially toward the front end portion of the housing, causing the blade to move at least partially into the workpiece holder to cut the elongated workpiece.
SCRAP CUTTER
A scrap cutter is provided in a subsequent stage of the press machine and cuts the scrap material fed from the press machine. The scrap cutter includes: a slide configured to be driven to reciprocate in the vertical direction by a Scotch yoke mechanism; an upper blade attached to the slide; and a lower blade attached to a frame and configured to cut the scrap material in cooperation with the upper blade. A shear angle formed by the upper blade and the lower blade has an angle that gradually decreases from a start of cutting of the scrap material toward an end of cutting to allow the driving torque of the crankshaft of the Scotch yoke mechanism to be constant from the start of cutting to the end of cutting in cutting a scrap material of a cutting capacity limit.
