Multi-Part Modular Tool
A multi-part modular tool rotatable about a longitudinal tool axis (A), comprising: a machining head; a first holding element comprising a body elongated along the longitudinal axis (A) of the tool, in which a passage extends along the longitudinal axis (A) of the tool; a second holding element which can extend in the passage of the first holding element; wherein the machining head can be connected to the second holding element in such a way that the machining head is fixed firmly to the first holding element at least in the axial direction (A) and/or in the radial direction (R), and wherein the passage of the first holding element and the second holding element are adapted to one another such that during a connection process in which the machining head is connected to the second holding element, the second holding element is movable relative to the first holding element.
Tool arrangement
A tool arrangement with a screw-in tool and a tool receiver, the screw-in tool having a thread for engagement in a counter thread on the tool receiver. The counter thread and the thread have different thread contours and therefore, in the screwed condition, these adapt to one another by elastic deformation.
DRILLING TOOL
A drilling tool with: a shaft; a seat at one end of the shaft; a drill bit, which is arranged on the seat; and a clamping section, which is provided on the shaft and can interact with the drill bit. Also provided is a tensioning screw, which is screwed into the shaft and comprises an expanding section as well as a contact section. The expanding section interacts with the clamping section, and the contact section interacts with the drill bit.
HOLE FINISHING TOOL AND METHOD OF PRODUCING HOLE FINISHED PRODUCT
According to one implementation, a hole finishing tool includes a reaming cutter and a holder. The reaming cutter has a first detaching structure. The first flow path for ejecting cutting oil is formed inside the reaming cutter. The holder has a second detaching structure. The second detaching structure is detached from and attached to the first detaching structure. The second flow path for supplying the cutting oil to the first flow path is formed inside the holder. The holder has a shank. The shank is held by a tool rotating device. The holder has a sliding portion. The sliding portion has no back taper. The sliding portion is inserted into a positioning bush and slid inside the positioning bush. The sliding portion has a concave portion for storing lubrication oil.
Tool for machining a workpiece
The present invention relates to a tool (10) for machining a workpiece, comprising a cutting head (12) which comprises a sleeve (16) and a cutting element (18) which is fixed to the sleeve (16), and comprising a holder (14) to which the cutting head (12) can be detachably fixed. In an assembled state of the tool (10), the cutting head (12) and holder (14) are screwed to each other via an internal thread (40) which is arranged in the sleeve (16) and an external thread (42) which corresponds thereto and which is arranged on the holder (14). In addition, in the assembled state of the tool (10), the cutting head (12) and holder (14) contact each other along a first axial bearing surface (36) which is arranged on the sleeve (16) and a second axial bearing surface (38) which corresponds thereto and which is arranged on the holder (14), and along a first conical bearing surface (44) which is arranged on the sleeve (16) and a second conical bearing surface (46) which corresponds thereto and which is arranged on the holder (14).
Cutting tool
This disclosure relates to a cutting tool, having a main body, a cutting head, which is joined to the free end of the main body and is formed, by primary shaping, as a sintered piece provided with at least one cutting edge, and a cooling lubricant feed, which is led through the main body axially and which has a cooling lubricant distributor inserted into the cutting head for redirecting cooling lubricant into the region of the at least one cutting edge. According to this disclosure, a plurality of protruding spacers for keeping a gap clear with respect to the cooling lubricant distributor and/or the main body are sintered on a supporting surface of the cutting head as primary shaped elements.
Rotary tool
The invention relates to a rotary tool (1; 101; 201) for cutting large inside diameters at the outer circumference (2) of which at least one cutting edge (4) is arranged, comprising a support structure (10; 110; 210) which indirectly or directly supports the at least one cutting edge (4), and comprising a chucking portion (24) for coupling to a tool holder, wherein the support structure (10; 110; 210) widens in an umbrella-type manner starting from a coupling portion (11) adjacent to the chucking portion (24) and is radially stiffened by a stiffening structure (12).
Rotary tool
The invention relates to a rotary tool (1; 101; 201; 301; 401) for cutting large inside diameters at the outer circumference (2) of which at least one cutting edge (4; 104; 204) is arranged, comprising a support structure (10; 110; 210; 310; 410) which includes a supporting area (14; 114; 214) which indirectly or directly supports the cutting edge (4; 104; 204), and comprising a chucking portion (24; 124; 224; 324; 424) for coupling to a tool holder, wherein the support structure (10; 110; 210; 310; 410) is designed in light-weight construction and the area (14; 114; 214) of the support structure (10; 110; 210; 310; 410) indirectly or directly supporting the cutting edge (4; 104; 204) is limited regarding thermal expansion by a corset structure (12; 112; 212; 312; 412).
LIGHTWEIGHT CUTTING TOOL
A lightweight cutting tool, such as a reamer, includes a front cutting body, a front cutting ring, a center tube, a rear cutting ring and a rear machine connection member. An arm assembly of the front and rear cutting heads includes one or more leading arms, one or more trailing arms and a cutting head supported by the leading and trailing arms. The leading arms and the trailing arms curve in opposite directions. To reduce weight and moment of inertia of the reamer, a cross-sectional area of the leading arms and the trailing arms is largest proximate the sleeve member and is smallest proximate the cutting head. In addition, the front cutting body, the front and rear cutting rings and the center tube may be made by additive manufacturing. Fluid can be transported entirely through the reamer to the cutting insert/workpiece interface and the guide pad/workpiece interface.
