Holder for a broaching tool
Broaching tool comprising a cutting insert having a cutting edge and a holder for holding the cutting insert. The holder has a clamping region and a holding region, wherein the holding region comprises, at its end facing away from the clamping region, a seat for the cutting insert, which is configured and arranged such that, when the cutting insert is mounted in the seat, its cutting edge projects beyond the circumferential surface of the holding region. The holding region furthermore comprises, on its circumferential surface, a support for the cutting insert. A coolant channel extends into the inside of the holder, which coolant channel comprises two exit openings which, as seen in the circumferential direction, are arranged laterally adjacent to the support and/or in lateral surfaces of the support.
PROCESSING TOOL AND PROCESSING TOOL ASSEMBLY
A processing tool includes a long cutting portion with a connecting surface and at least one clamped portion which is fixed to the connecting surface. The long cutting portion extends along a longitudinal direction. Each of two sides of the long cutting portion along the longitudinal direction is an abutted end. A bottom portion of each of the abutted ends is connected to the connecting surface, and a top portion of each of the abutted end is away from the connecting surface. A first length is defined between the top portions of the abutted ends, and a second length is defined between the bottom portions of the abutted ends, wherein the first length is smaller than the second length. A processing tool assembly is provided as well. With such design, the processing tool thereof could be changed easily. Multiple workpieces could be simultaneously cut, and the accuracy thereof could be enhanced.
Methods and arrangements relating to edge machining of building panels
A tool configuration 91 for producing an improved locking system of a floor panel 1′ and a method incorporating such tool configuration. The tool configuration 91x, 91y, is a non-rotating tool configuration profiling certain surfaces of the joint edge of the floor panel, resulting in that the tolerances can be kept on a low level.

GROOVING TOOL FOR CONNECTING ROD AND BREAKING-PROMOTION-PORTION FORMING DEVICE
A grooving tool configured to form a substantially V-groove shaped breaking promotion portion for breaking and splitting a large end part of a connection rod at the large end part along a cutting direction, comprising a rough-machining blade to cut a peripheral surface of a penetrating hole provided at the large end part, a finishing blade to finish a portion cut by the rough-machining blade, and a support member supporting the rough-machining blade and the finishing blade in order along a direction opposite to the cutting direction, wherein the rough-machining blade is configured such that a height h1 of its blade tip from a bottom face of a first cutting-blade attachment portion is lower than a height h2 of a blade tip of the finishing blade which is made of a higher-hardness material than the rough-machining blade.
BROACH FOR BROACHING MACHINE
A broach for a broaching machine is provided, which has a toothed sheet with hard-metal teeth, formed by one or more segments arranged in longitudinal correlation and a sheet-holding support in which the toothed sheet is placed; characterized in that the sheet-holding support has a recess into which a base of the toothed sheet with matching configuration fits, in order to establish mechanical coupling between the two, and in that the sheet-holding support includes tightening means for securing the toothed sheet in position in the sheet-holder.
Pot broaching tools and methods for remanufacture-forming pot broaching tools
A method for remanufacturing a pot broaching tool includes re-grinding cutting teeth on a cutting side of a used pot broaching tool, cool laser welding a rough milled shim to a bottom side of the used pot broaching tool, and grinding the cool laser welded rough milled shim such that an outer surface of the cool laser welded milled shim has a high polished surface. An inner surface of the rough milled shim has an Ra surface finish between 250 and 30 microinches and the ground outer surface of the rough milled shim has a flatness tolerance within +0/0.0002 inches. Also, the method can include installing the remanufactured pot broaching tool in a pot without the use of a thin shim between the outer surface of the cool laser welded milled shim and an inner surface of the pot.
BROACH FOR A BROACHING MACHINE
A broach for a broaching machine is disclosed, the broach being usable for machining parts by stripping off material, having at least one tooth for stripping off the material, which has a detaching face for stripping off material and a back face for receiving stripped material, in addition to two side faces and an cutting face joining the detaching face with the back face; a blade for locating the at least one tooth; a chip chamber as an open cavity, the chip chamber being located longitudinally immediately after the cutting face; and a leading edge for cutting the part to be machined, the leading edge being configured with a rounded shape, which is located in correspondence with a union of the detaching face with the cutting face.
