BLADE SHARPENING SYSTEM
A blade sharpening system may include a sharpening tool for sharpening a workpiece. The system may also include a sharpening fixture having a mounting surface for mounting a workpiece to be sharpened by the sharpening tool. The mounting surface may be disposed on a sled that is movable along a sharpening path that passes under a sharpening implement that may be mounted to a movable arm of the sharpening tool when the arm is in an engaged position. The movement of the sled may be coupled to the movement of the arm such that moving the arm from a disengaged position to the engaged position initiates the sled to move in a first direction along the sharpening path and moving the arm from the engaged position to the disengaged position initiates the sled to move along the sharpening path in a second direction.
Automatic tile cutter
The invention relates to an automatic tile cutter (1) comprising a cutting table (31) for receiving a tile (21) to be cut, and at least one cutting tool (59) that is translatably movable along a guide rail (61) and is to cut the tile along a cutting line such that a cut tile and scraps are obtained, characterized in that the tile cutter additionally comprises: —at least a first conveyor (11) for conveying the tile (21) from a tile loading zone (5) to a tile cutting zone (7); —at least two abutments (15) for blocking the movement of the tile (21) in a predefined tile position in the cutting zone; and —an electronic control unit (57) configured to control the positioning of the abutment elements (15) and the cutting tool (59) relative to each other in accordance with predefined cutting parameters and actuate the cutting tool.
Twin-head bar cutting device
A twin-head bar cutting device includes a first cutting head and a first bar holding device as well as a second cutting head and a second bar holding device placed on a common base. The base includes a first placement surface on which the first cutting head is placed, a second placement surface on which the second cutting head is placed, and a holding device placement surface formed higher than the first placement surface and the second placement surface between the first placement surface and the second placement surface and on which the first bar holding device and the second bar holding device are placed, and the first cutting head and the second cutting head are arranged symmetrically about a vertical plane passing through a center in a width direction of the base.
Device for transversally cutting convolutely wound logs of web materials
A log saw for cutting convolutely wound logs of web material is disclosed. The log saw includes a cutting blade operating in a cutting plane, a log saw clamp for the retention of a convolutely wound log of web material such that the convolutely wound log of web material extends in a log advancing path through to the cutting plane, and controls connected to the clamping device.
CUTTING SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS
In some embodiments, a cutting system including a movable blade or a reciprocating blade operably coupled to a motor is disclosed, wherein the cutting system comprises a diverting feature. In some embodiments, a diverter proximity relative to the movable blade or reciprocating blade is selected to facilitate diversion of a material during cutting. In at least one embodiment, the movable blade may be movable blade for an oscillating tool. A cutting system according to the present invention may be coupled to a container, for example, a residential trash container or a residential recycling container.
Carpenter's accordion
A carpenter's accordion is disclosed herein. The carpenter's accordion is a portable, compactable, and free-standing tool that may be advantageously used in combination with a table saw to increase the length of stock that one user can cut with a blade. Generally, the more sections that comprise the carpenter's accordion, the greater the lengths of stock one user will be able to cut using a table saw or other similar tool in combination with the accordion.
Cutting systems and related methods
In some embodiments, a cutting system including a movable blade operably coupled to a motor is disclosed, wherein the cutting system comprises a diverting feature. In some embodiments, a diverter proximity relative to the movable blade is selected to facilitate diversion of a material during cutting. In at least one embodiment, the movable blade may be a circular blade or a reciprocating blade with a thickness of less than 3/32 of an inch. A cutting system according to the present invention may be coupled to a container, for example, a residential trash container or a residential recycling container.
METHOD AND PROCESSING ASSEMBLY FOR PROCESSING PROFILE BEAM PARTS EACH EXTENDING ALONG A LONGITUDINAL AXIS
A method for processing profile beam parts includes providing a machining station, an in-feed transport system, and an out-feed transport system. The method further includes transporting and in-feeding a first profile beam part together with a second profile beam part to the machining station, machining at least the first profile beam part in the machining station, out-feeding the first profile beam part with the out-feed transport system from the machining station to an intermediate position which is at a variable distance X from a discharge position between the machining station and the discharge position, and in-feeding the second profile beam part in the machining station with the in-feed transport system over a distance Y and simultaneously out-feeding the first profile beam part over the distance X from the intermediate position to the discharge position. The capacity of the system is improved with the method.
