Tile saw
A tile saw includes a saw unit having a motor and a saw blade driven by the motor, a table through which the saw blade at least partially protrudes, and a pan positioned underneath the table and including a channel configured to receive at least a portion of the saw blade. The channel extends along a longitudinal axis perpendicular to a rotational axis of the saw blade such that fluid moves through the channel in a first direction in response to rotation of the saw blade. An interior wall is positioned adjacent the channel. The interior wall is obliquely oriented relative to the longitudinal axis of the channel to redirect the fluid in a second direction that is different from the first direction.
Work table fence assembly and sled therefor
A sled assembly configured to push stock along a fence includes a carriage and rollers mounted at spaced apart positions. The rollers engage the fence to guide movement of the carriage therealong and each has a peripheral portion for being received in a fence race. An adjustable roller mount selectively adjusts the position of the roller to align the peripheral portions of the rollers with the width of the race. An adjustable fence assembly includes an outfeed fence movable relative to an infeed fence. An outfeed fence adjustment mechanism includes mounting posts at spaced apart locations along the length of the outfeed fence movable to drive movement of the outfeed fence along an axis transverse to the feed direction.
Trigonometric universal centering jig assembly
For use upon machinery in a wood shop or any industrial facility where it is desired to operate upon an object's unmarked centerline, such as with a powered saw table, drill press or any other apparatus required for the task: The sine and cosine of a triangle—are used to assure that as a certain component is moved a given distance, a guide fence is moved transversely just a fraction of that distance—preferably one-half—away from or toward the task performing instrument—a saw blade, drill bit or other operable tool. Thus, if the distance moved by the component equals the width of the piece to be worked upon, where the trigonometric sine is such that the guide fence is moved half that distance, given certain further adjustment, the task performing instrument is caused to operate precisely upon the piece's centerline, represented by one-half its width.
ROBOT CELL FOR SEPARATING A NAILED PALLET PART FROM A PALLET
The invention concerns a robot cell (1) comprising a multi axis robot arm (3), which terminates in a gripper (4) arranged to handle a pallet (2), and a sawing device (10), which is arranged to separate a nailed pallet part from a pallet (2) handled by said gripper (4). The sawing device (10) comprises a saw blade immersed in a liquid bath, which is contained in a trough (11) of the sawing device (10), such that separation of said nailed pallet part is performed in a liquid environment.
SLIDABLE WORKBENCH
A slidable workbench includes a shifting mechanism and a push member. The shifting mechanism includes a fixed board, two slide rails, and a sliding platform. Immovable sections of the slide rails are disposed on the top surface of the fixed board and spaced at an interval. Movable sections of the slide rails are disposed at the bottom surface of the sliding platform, enabling the sliding platform to slide on the fixed board through the slide rails. Thereby, a workpiece is pushed by the push member and the sliding platform is slidable relative to the fixed board for the user to operate a table saw in a quick, labor-saving and easy manner. The slidable workbench can be used for all kinds of saw machines to enhance the convenience and safety of the saw machines greatly and improve the quality of cutting.
CUTTING MACHINE WITH CLAMP ASSEMBLY
A cutting machine with clamp assembly includes a saw blade, a worktable, and a clamp assembly. The worktable is adjacent to the saw blade and can move along a processing axis relative to the saw blade. The worktable includes a tabletop facing the saw blade, a processing area set on the tabletop and extending along the processing axis and corresponding to the saw blade, and a chute recessed on the tabletop and extending in the direction of the processing area. The clamp assembly can be operated to move along the chute. The present invention uses the clamp assembly to firmly press against the workpiece, thereby assisting the positioning of the workpiece and ensuring the safety of the user.
Adjustable featherboard
The present invention relates to improvements in a magnetic featherboard, the featherboard having an elongate main body with opposite lateral faces, a bottom face and front and rear faces; a plurality of resiliently deformable feathers arranged at one or both lateral faces of the main body, and at least two, on-off switchable permanent magnets respectively received in one of at least two spaced apart recesses of the main body such that a working face of the respective switchable permanent magnet is present at the bottom face of the main body. One improvement comprises (i) providing a resiliently deformable friction gasket adjacent the working face of each of the switchable permanent magnets and protruding, in an non-deformed state, a predetermined amount from the bottom face of the main body and the working faces, the gaskets deformable through magnetic clamping of the featherboard to a table. The other improvement resides in providing at least two adjustable stops at one or both of the front and the rear face of the main body, each said stop comprising an abutment piece displaceable in longitudinal direction relative to the front/rear face, wherein a distance of each of the abutment pieces from the front/rear face is settable independently of each other, the stops operational to provide at least two abutments against which stock material to be machined can be placed when the featherboard is magnetically secured to the table.
Table saw and splinter protection element
A table saw, preferably a circular table saw, with a support structure which can be placed on a support and on the upper side of which a workpiece support plate is provided, and with a saw blade projecting upwards over the workpiece support plate. The workpiece support plate is mounted so that it can slide in the sawing direction relative to the support structure and to the saw blade and has a splinter protection element arranged on a side of the workpiece support plate facing the saw blade. This side is guided past the saw blade when the workpiece support plate is moved.
Miter gauge assembly
A guide assembly for use with a tool to guide movement of the tool along a channel defined by a work platform. The guide assembly comprises an elongate bar slidably received in the channel. The elongate bar has a width that is less than a width of the channel. The elongate bar defines recesses extending from a first side of the elongate bar toward a second side of the elongate bar. Guides are moveably mounted in one of the recesses of the elongate bar to adjust a working width of the guide assembly to fit the width of the channel. Each guide projects from its recess and has a portion thereof disposed outward of the first side of the elongate bar. The working width of the guide assembly extends between the second side of the elongate bar and the portion of the guide disposed outward of the first side of the elongate bar.
