BANDSAW OPERATIVE TO MAKE SIMULTANEOUS SPACED-APART CUTS WITH A SINGLE BLADE
A bandsaw makes simultaneous, spaced-apart cuts in hard or soft materials with a single bandsaw blade. The invention is ideally suited to cutting spaced-apart parallel surfaces to form support blocks, however, different embodiment may be controlled or programmed to make parallel or non-parallel cuts at varying angles. The single bandsaw blade rides on circular wheels on both sides of a gap or passageway, such that a first portion of the blade crosses the passage along a first, upper path, and a second portion of the bandsaw blade crosses the passage along a second, lower path. A table moves the material through the passage, whereupon the material is simultaneously cut along two planes corresponding to the upper and lower paths of the bandsaw blade. A preferred embodiment includes a first set of upper and lower wheels on one side of the passage, and a second set of upper and lower wheels on an opposing side of the passage.
BAND-SAW BLADE CHANGING DEVICE AND METHOD
A device for mounting and dismounting a band-saw blade has a movable support frame and a plurality of retaining elements distributed on said support frame and configured to temporarily adhere to the outer flat side of the band-saw blade at various locations along the contour of the band-saw blade, thereby exerting an outwardly directed force on the outer flat side of the band-saw blade.
BAND SAW CUTTING EQUIPMENT
The present invention refers to a band saw cutting equipment used, preferably, for the cutting of frozen food products, which has a double band saw cutting system, both in the same cutting plane, with opposite serrated edges on the outside of the said cutting system and with a piece of guidance and separation of the two band saws, that allow the correct position of the band saw to be assured without it bending, maintaining the cutting plane and avoiding that it moves in the cutting plane, avoiding it leaving the pulley system, maintaining a minimum separation between the saws.
MACHINE FOR SIMULTANEOUS CUTTING OF A PLURALITY OF SLABS FROM A BLOCK OF STONE MATERIAL
The present invention concerns a Machine (10, 10) for simultaneous cutting of a plurality of slabs (18) from a block (B) of stone material through a plurality of band saw blades (11), wherein each of said band saw blades (11) is closed in a loop between a respective driving pulley (12) or a shared driving drum and a respective driven pulley (13) or a shared driven drum, said driving pulleys (12) or said shared driving drum rotating around a first axis (A) of rotation, or respective first axes of rotation parallel to each other, and said driven pulleys (13) or said shared driven drum rotating around the same second axis (A) of rotation, parallel to said first axis (A) of rotation, or respective second axes of rotation parallel to each other and parallel to said first axes of rotation, said axis (A) of rotation of the driving pulleys (12) or of said shared driving drum and said axis of rotation (A) of the driven pulleys (13) or of said shared driven drum being in turn mounted on a frame (14) movable with respect to said block of stone material, along two directions (x, y) incident to each other, one direction (x) of cutting said block (B) of stone material, said direction (x) of cutting being disposed on a plane () of cutting of said slabs (18), said plane () of cutting being in its turn incident with respect to a direction (y) of relative advancement of said block (B) of stone material with respect to said frame (14), characterised in that the plane () to which said direction (x) of cutting and said direction (y) of relative advancement of said block (B) of stone material with respect to said frame (14) belong is horizontal and at least the portion of the path of each of said band saw blades (11) included between respective movable spacers (19) is inclined with respect to the vertical of an angle () comprised between 3 and 20 in the direction of cutting.
HIGH THROUGHPUT BANDSAW
The present disclosure provides for an apparatus for using continuous, preferably smooth, bandsaw blades to cut a substrate. The current disclosure also discloses using the same for preparing a safe and efficient method for cutting substrates into rolls.
Band saw machine
A band saw machine has two deflection pulleys arranged one above the other in the vertical direction, an endless saw band, which is guided around the deflection pulleys and which has an upward running portion and a downward running portion, and a machine frame, which has a saw neck for holding at least the upper deflection pulley. The deflection pulleys are arranged substantially parallel to a front edge of the machine frame, so that both the upward running portion and the downward running portion of the saw band face towards the front edge with their cutting edges. The saw neck is arranged offset from the deflection pulleys from the front edge (6) to the rear. Both the upward running portion and the downward running portion of the saw band are at least partially exposed between the deflection pulleys.
