The handheld band saw further includes a drive wheel assembly and a shoe coupled to the housing. The shoe extends into the cut zone and is configured to support a workpiece during the cutting operation. The shoe includes an actuator that is coupled for movement with the shoe. The actuator is configured to adjust the shoe to one of a plurality of predefined positions relative to the housing.

A sample cutting assembly includes a base block, a saw pressure plate, an external blade guide, and an internal blade guide. The cutter can be used to conveniently remove samples for Material testing to determine serviceability or material condition. Apparatuses and techniques for using the sample cutting assembly are also disclosed.

A band saw including a housing, a motor, a drive pulley configured to receive torque from the motor, and a plurality of driven pulleys rotatably coupled to a plate, in which the plate is coupled to the housing for sliding movement. The band saw further includes a cavity within the housing and located between the drive pulley and the plurality of driven pulleys and an endless saw blade wrapped around the drive pulley and the plurality of driven pulleys. The insulative material is cut via a passive cutting wheel driven across a platen and engaged to a stationary drive belt about the passive cutting wheel axis. Engagement of the stationary drive belt with the passive cutting wheel axis results in a turning of the passive cutting wheel.

The present invention refers to a band saw cutting equipment used, preferably, for the cutting of frozen food products, which has a double band saw cutting system, both in the same cutting plane, with opposite serrated edges on the outside of the said cutting system and with a piece of guidance and separation of the two band saws, that allow the correct position of the band saw to be assured without it bending, maintaining the cutting plane and avoiding that it moves in the cutting plane, avoiding it leaving the pulley system, maintaining a minimum separation between the saws.

A handheld band saw includes a housing, a handle coupled to the housing and configured to be grasped by a user during a cutting operation, a motor supported by the housing, and a drive wheel assembly rotationally driven by the motor. The drive wheel assembly at least partially disposed within the housing. The band saw further includes a saw blade driven by the drive wheel assembly. The saw blade is configured to cut a workpiece during the cutting operation. The band saw further includes a pipe reamer attachment coupled to the drive wheel assembly. The pipe reamer attachment is configured to deburr the workpiece after completion of the cutting operation.
