GUIDE BAR FOR NARROW BELT SAW
A cutting belt comprises a guide bar system that includes a guide bar. The guide bar has a first end section, a second end section, and a central section between the first end section and the second end section. A first upper fluid channel is defined through the guide bar. The first upper fluid channel has an entrance opening in the first end section of the guide bar and extends to the central section of the guide bar where it is in fluid communication with a bottom channel. The second upper fluid channel has an entrance opening in the second end section of the guide bar and extends to the central section of the guide bar where it is in fluid communication with the bottom channel.
Sawing machine and method for controlling a sawing machine
A method for controlling a sawing machine with a sawing tool, which is driven by an electrical sawing tool drive with a first frequency converter, and with a sawing feed device for moving the driven sawing tool at a feed rate in relation to a workpiece to be sawn, and also to such a sawing machine. The feed rate is changed over from an idling feed rate to a working feed rate when the sawing tool engages in the workpiece. A value of a physical variable which corresponds to the torque transferred from the sawing tool drive to the sawing tool or from which a change in this torque can be calculated is determined here at the first frequency converter. The changeover from the idling feed rate to the working feed rate takes place in dependence on the value of this physical variable.
Band saw machine
A band saw machine for sawing metallic workpieces, having a lower saw part and an upper saw part with two carrying wheels mounted therein, and a saw band that revolves with a cutting motion around the wheels that passes through a cutting region. A feeding device attached to the lower saw part feeds workpieces to the cutting region and/or into a sawing plane, in which the cutting region of the saw band is moved in a saw advance motion. The feeding device has a movable holder for detachably fastening the workpiece, and the holder, starting from an initial position, is movable both with translational and rotational motions. The saw band is guided through the cutting region, and the holder is moved translationally against the cutting region in order to execute the saw advance motion. Here, the workpiece is preferably turned by the holder such that its upper side faces downward.
Band-sawing check valve device
A band-sawing check valve device is provided. The band-sawing check valve device includes a main wheel, a transmission assembly, a driving assembly and a check valve assembly. The transmission assembly is linked to a transmission shaft. The transmission shaft is disposed to the transmission assembly, the driving assembly drives the transmission shaft to drive the main wheel, and the check valve assembly is used to limit the rotation of the main wheel in a single direction.
Sawing machine and method for controlling a sawing machine
A method for controlling a sawing machine is provided. For a first cut in a workpiece, a working feed rate that is specific to the workpiece geometry, the workpiece material and the sawing tool is defined in advance. During the first cut, an instantaneous value of a physical variable is determined at a frequency converter, that is related to the torque transmitted by the sawing tool drive to the sawing tool, and this value is transmitted as an instantaneous torque value to a machine controller. The instantaneous torque value is continuously evaluated, a maximum torque value of the first cut is determined and a maximum value for the torque value is defined based thereon. For subsequent cuts in the same workpiece, the working feed rate is regulated, using the instantaneous torque value as a regulating variable, such that the instantaneous torque value is kept constant, close to the maximum valve.
Band-saw machine and method for sawing a metal tube
A method for sawing a metal tube (3) or a hollow section is disclosed. The method includes using a band-saw machine, which has a stationary lower saw part (1), having a saw table (2) for securing the metal tube (3) or the hollow section to be sawn, and an upper saw part (4), which is movable in relation to the lower saw part (1) and which has a revolving saw band (5). The revolving saw band (5) penetrates the metal tube (3) or the hollow section via a feed motion (13) of the upper saw part (4), which is performed in relation to the lower saw part (1). For performing a saw cut, the revolving saw band (5) is guided through the metal tube (3) or the hollow section. The feed motion is carried out substantially counter to the force of gravity.
System and method for controlling a feed-speed to a bandmill
A method and system for controlling a feed-speed to a bandsaw having a sawblade trained around a drive wheel and a spaced-apart driven wheel, and a strain adjustment mechanism for adjusting the strain on the sawblade by changing the spacing therebetween. The method includes sensing a change in the spacing and making a corresponding change in the feed-speed. The system controls an input device for feeding a workpiece to the bandsaw, and includes a sensor and a controller for performing the aforementioned functions.
BAND SAW MACHINE
A band saw machine for sawing metallic workpieces, having a lower saw part, an upper saw part attached thereto, at least two carrying wheels mounted in the upper saw part, of which at least one is driven, a saw band that revolves with a cutting motion around the carrying wheels and that passes through a cutting region, and a feeding device, attached to the lower saw part, for feeding the workpieces 3 to the cutting region of the saw band and/or into a sawing plane, in which the cutting region of the saw band can be displaced for the purpose of executing a saw advance motion1. The feeding device has a movable holder for detachably fastening the workpiece, such that the holder of the feeding device, starting from an initial position, can be moved both with a translational motion and with a rotational motion to the cutting region of the saw band and/or to the sawing plane. Preferably, the saw band is guided through the cutting region in the same orientation in which it revolves around the carrying wheels, and the holder is moved translationally against the cutting region in order to execute the saw advance motion. For this purpose, the workpiece is preferably turned round by the holder in such a manner that its upper side faces downward.
