Dust collection systems and attachments for circular saws
A dust collection system for a circular saw may include an attachment. A fixed blade guard may define an exhaust port for removing debris drawn into the fixed blade guard. An attachment may be positioned adjacent to a fixed blade guard in fluid communication with an interior of the fixed blade guard through an aperture, where the attachment defines an exhaust port. An exhaust port can extend into fluid communication with a cavity formed by a protrusion, where the cavity has an expanded interior volume extending from and adjacent to the exhaust port. A channel defined by a connection configured for connecting to a vacuum source is in fluid communication with the expanded interior volume of the cavity through the exhaust port for pulling debris from within the fixed blade guard into the cavity and through the exhaust port and the channel toward the vacuum source.

The fastening apparatus also includes at least one fastening interface for fastening the functional unit. Alternatively, or additionally, the fastening apparatus includes the functional unit. The functional unit includes a guide device, in particular a guide rail, a router guide, a routing template, a rolling guide rail, a drilling apparatus, a lamp and/or a grazing light.
CIRCULAR SAW WITH A SHROUD
A cut off saw including a housing; a motor; a gear case, the gear case having an end face which extends from the side of the housing; an output spindle for a cutting blade which passes through and extends from the end face of the gear case which is rotationally driven by the motor when the motor is activated; a guard rotatably mounted on the end face of the gear case and which surrounds at least part of the periphery of a cutting blade when the cutting blade is mounted on the output spindle; a side wall of the guard faces the end face and includes a series of recesses which face towards the end face; the end face facing towards the side wall of the guard includes a series of projections which are capable of aligning with and engaging with the recesses.
CIRCULAR SAW WITH A SHROUD
A power tool assembly including a cut off saw and a shroud wherein, when the shroud is mounted on the cut off saw, the guard of the cut off saw is located within the shroud trough section of the shroud and the shroud is locked to the guard by locating the engagement section under one of the lower front edge or lower rear edge of the guard and by pivoting the switch lever to its first position to locate the peg under the other of the lower front edge or lower rear edge of the guard.
MOBILE HAND-HELD MACHINE SAW WITH SCORING ASSEMBLY AND DUST EXTRACTION
A mobile handheld machine saw having a saw assembly, which has a saw toolholder for a saw tool and a saw drive motor for driving the saw toolholder and having a guide device, wherein the handheld machine saw has a scoring assembly, which is arranged in front of the saw assembly on the guide device with respect to the working direction, having a scorer toolholder for a scoring tool and having a scoring drive for driving the scorer toolholder, wherein a score upstream from the saw cut to be introduced in the working direction can be introduced into the workpiece by means of the scoring tool protruding in front of the guide surface in scoring operation of the handheld machine tool. It is provided that the scoring assembly has a scorer dust extraction device for extracting particles arising during the introduction of the score by the scoring tool into the workpiece.
COUPLING
A coupling (40) for connecting a suction line (31) to a first fluid flow and an exhaust gas flow, the coupling (40) comprising first and second portions (51, 52). The first portion (51) is adapted to receive an end section (34) of the suction line (31) and the second portion (52) is adapted to cooperate with the first portion (51) for engaging a portion of the end section (34) therebetween. The first portion (51) has an opening (63) for receiving an exhaust outlet (16, 17) configured to deliver an exhaust gas flow into the first portion (51). Engagement of the end section (34) between the first and second portions (51, 52) serves to compress a marginal portion of a side wall (37) or side port (36) in the end section (34) of the suction line (31). An apparatus (10) including a rotary tool element (19) and including the coupling (40) is also disclosed.

A power tool having a power tool housing, a motor, a tool moved relative to the housing by the motor, a fan rotated by the motor such that a fluid flow with debris generated by tool is moved into the fluid inlet by the fan and through the discharge outlet, and a filter that is removably attached to the power tool housing. The power tool housing includes a fluid inlet and a discharge outlet. The filter includes a filter media for separating the debris from the flow of fluid. The filter media defines a collection container for storing the debris. The filter also includes an opening through which the flow of fluid with the debris enters the collection container, and a valve that is moveable between a closed position, in which the opening is closed, and an open position, in which the opening is open. The valve includes a duckbill check valve.
SELF-DUST EXTRACTION DUSTLESS MITER SAW
A self-dust extraction dustless miter saw includes a pedestal, a disc mounted on the pedestal, and a sawing mechanism installed above the disc, the sawing mechanism includes a saw blade, a blade guard installed above the saw blade, and an upper dust extraction channel; the upper dust extraction channel is arranged at a lower rear of the blade guard and is configured to extract a dust carried by the saw blade while cutting; the self-dust extraction dustless miter saw further includes a lower dust extraction channel, the lower dust extraction channel is mounted to a rear of the disc, a first end of the lower dust extraction is connected with the disc, and a second end of the lower dust extraction channel is connected with a self-dust extraction device of the self-dust extraction dustless miter saw through a pipe.
