Fastening device and system
A functional unit, in particular for a tool, a tool accessory and/or a lighting apparatus, that includes a housing, a suction region, which is arranged on the housing and with which the fastening apparatus can be fastened releasably to a substrate, and an electrically operated negative-pressure unit, which is arranged in the housing and to provide a negative pressure in the suction region. The fastening apparatus also includes at least one fastening interface for fastening the functional unit. Alternatively, or additionally, the fastening apparatus includes the functional unit. The functional unit includes a guide device, in particular a guide rail, a router guide, a routing template, a rolling guide rail, a drilling apparatus, a lamp and/or a grazing light.
Pipe cut-off tool and accessories for such tools
Power tools such as cutting saws with rotary powered blades are described. Also described are various accessories for tools used with cylindrical workpieces such as pipes are described. The accessories include a clamp and saw joint assembly, various quick connection assemblies between a saw and a clamping system, a plunge guide assembly, a latch plate assembly, an interlock switch, a blade guard system, and a chip management system or chip deflector. Also described are related methods of use.
Saw support assembly
A saw support assembly includes a base member defining a receiving channel. The receiving channel of the base member is configured to receive a leg of a saw therein to secure the base member to the leg of the saw. An arm member is pivotably coupled to the base member. The arm member is configured to pivot towards or away from the base member. The arm member is configured to extend from the base member to support the leg of the saw to which the base member is secured. A branch member extends between the base member and the arm member. The branch member defines a first end connected with the base member and a second end connected with the support arm. The branch member is configured to limit a degree to which the arm member can pivot away from the base member.
Circular Saw Bracket
The present invention is a circular saw holder. In an embodiment, the circular saw bracket is provided with a ledge protruding from the body of the bracket. The ledge is further provided with a lip. The configuration allows the upper blade guard of a circular saw to rest on the ledge, while the lip engages the inside surface of the blade guard, preventing the saw from falling off the bracket. In an embodiment, through holes in the body allow the bracket to be mounted to a surface using screws.
Circular Saw Miter System
A circular saw miter system for includes a circular saw that has a guide and a blade. A stand is provided and the stand may be positioned on a support surface. The stand may have a board placed thereon. A miter is removably coupled to stand and the miter may position the board at a selected angle on the stand. A pair of tracks is provided and each of the tracks is coupled to the stand. The circular saw is slidably coupled to the tracks and the circular saw may be manipulated. Each of the tracks is positioned above the miter. Thus, the circular saw may cut the board at the selected angle.
A PORTABLE AUTOMATIC PANEL CUTTER AND A METHOD FOR MARKING PANEL PARTS
Disclosed is a portable automatic panel cutter (1) comprising one or more remote operator interfaces (2) adapted to receive instructions from an operator regarding dimensional processing of a panel (3) in the portable automatic panel cutter (1). The portable automatic panel cutter (1) is adapted to automatically cutting the panel (3) into two or more panel parts (4) according to the instructions. Furthermore, the portable automatic panel cutter (1) also comprises an automated marker tool (5) configured for marking at least one of the two or more panel parts (4) with one or more identification marks (6) in response to the instructions. A method for marking one or more panel parts in a portable automatic panel cutter (1) and use of a portable automatic panel cutter (1) is also disclosed.
TRACK SAW ASSEMBLY
A track saw assembly is provided including a track saw (i.e., a circular saw) having a shoe translatable upon a track. Various mechanisms control plunging of a saw unit and saw blade of the track saw relative to the shoe. For example, a plunge lockout mechanism is provided to prevent engagement of a trigger and prevent movement of a plunge mechanism. Various mechanisms control bevel angle adjustment of the saw unit relative to the shoe. For example, a linkage is provided and is operable to shift between a first position and a second position. In the first position, a bevel angle is restricted within a first bevel angle range. In the second position, the bevel angle is restricted within an expanded second bevel angle range. Other concepts relate to the interface between the shoe and the track and a clamp which secures the track to a workpiece.
AUTONOMOUS DIGITAL DISTANCE MEASUREMENT UNIT
A carriage comprising: a housing able to be slidably mounted on a track, a platform on which can rest an object to be cut by a cutting device mounted on the track, a stop able to stop the object relative to the cutting device while the object rests on the platform, wherein the platform is movable relative to the housing between a raised position and a lowered position wherein the platform is closer to the track than in the raised position, when the housing is slidably mounted on the track.
TRACK SAW
A circular saw comprising a shoe including an upper surface and an opposite, lower surface, and a saw unit. The saw unit includes a circular saw blade, a blade guard, and a transparent blade window. The blade guard encloses a portion of the saw blade. The blade guard encloses a portion of the saw blade and has a cutout adjacent a bottom side of the blade guard and a slot above the cutout. The transparent blade window is configured to be received in the cutout to provide a user with a visual indication of the saw blade. The blade window includes a lock tab confined for sliding movement within a first portion of the slot and removable from the slot when aligned with a second portion of the slot to remove the blade window from the blade guard.
