GROUND SET SAW BLADE
A saw blade comprises a blade backer with a pair of side surfaces that extend substantially parallel to each other. An intermediate surface extends between the pair of side surfaces of the blade backer. A plurality of teeth extends from the intermediate surface. At least one of the teeth is located entirely within planes containing the side surfaces of the blade backer. A tip is formed at an apex end portion of the one tooth. A leading face surface of the tip on the one tooth is disposed at an acute angle relative to a plane extending perpendicular to the planes containing the side surfaces of the blade backer.
SAW BLADE
A reciprocating saw blade including a body, an attachment portion, a cutting portion formed on the body including a plurality of cutting teeth, and a plunge point for initiating a plunge cut including a plunge tooth and a leading gullet between the plunge tooth and a first tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth. A first angle of the rake face of the plunge tooth is measured through the plunge tooth. A second angle of the rake face of the first cutting tooth is measured through the first cutting tooth. One of the first angle and the second angle is greater than 90 degrees and the other is less than 90 degrees. At least the first cutting tooth is set. The rake face defining the first angle is spaced from the rake face defining the second angle by a distance greater than the pitch of the plurality of cutting teeth.
Superalloy Saw Blade
A separating tool (1) including a tooth supporting body (2) and a plurality of teeth (3) being arranged at the tooth supporting body (2) serves to separate workpieces of steel, the workpieces having a high temperature. The tooth supporting body (2) is made of a superalloy (10).

METHOD FOR JOINING HARD MATERIAL BODIES TO TEETH OF A SAW BLADE
The invention relates to a method for joining hard material bodies to teeth of a saw blade, in particular of a band saw blade or circular saw blade, wherein each tooth has a tooth face and a tooth back, and the method includes the following steps: bringing each tooth of the saw blade into a working region; guiding each hard material body toward the tooth located in the working region; advancing a joining device into the working region; joining the hard material body to the tooth located in the working region; and withdrawing the joining device out of the working region. According to the invention, each hard material body is joined to the tooth back of each tooth.
SAW BLADE HAVING THIN FILM CERAMIC COATING
A saw blade including a body and a plurality of teeth disposed on the body and defining a cutting portion. At least one tooth of the plurality of teeth have a substrate forming a tip of the at least one tooth. The saw blade further includes a thin film ceramic coating overlaying at least the substrate. The thin film ceramic coating has a greater strength than the substrate.

The thin film ceramic coating has a greater strength than the substrate.
SAW BLADE
A saw blade including a body, a plurality of cutting teeth, and a plurality of gullets. The plurality of cutting teeth formed on the body. Each cutting tooth includes a first end and a second end. The plurality of gullets is formed between the plurality of cutting teeth. Each gullet having an opening defined between the first end of one tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth and the second end of an adjacent tooth of the plurality of cutting teeth. Each opening has an opening width and a gullet width. A ratio between he gullet width over the opening width is greater than or equal to 1.2:1.
