The end cutting edges formed on the front end face of the tool body includes a first end cutting edge that is connected to the front end of the thread cutting edge, and a second end cutting edge that is connected to the first end cutting edge on the side closer to the axis, and is angled more toward the rear end than the first end cutting edge. The angle formed by an imaginary plane perpendicular to the axis and the first end cutting edge is set to 6° or less. The angle formed by the second end cutting edges and the imaginary plane perpendicular to the axis and is set to be greater than the angle formed by the first end cutting edges and the imaginary plane perpendicular to the axis.

A thread milling tool for producing a thread. The thread milling tool comprises a tool holder, which extends along a central axis and comprises a first slot-shaped cutting insert receptacle having two opposing lateral abutment surfaces and a base abutment surface arranged between the two lateral abutment surfaces and extending transversely thereto, the abutment surface forming a base of the first slot-shaped cutting insert receptacle. The thread milling tool further comprises a first cutting insert, which is fixed in the first cutting insert receptacle in a firmly bonded manner, wherein the first cutting insert comprises a base body having two opposing lateral surfaces, which abut against the two lateral abutment surfaces of the first cutting insert receptacle or are connected in a firmly bonded manner thereto, and having a lower side arranged between the two lateral surfaces and extending transversely thereto, wherein the lower surface abuts against or is connected in a firmly bonded manner to the base abutment surface of the first cutting insert receptacle, and wherein the first cutting insert comprises at least one cutting tooth that projects outwardly from the base body beyond the first cutting insert receptacle and comprises two main cutting edges for producing two opposing flanks of the thread.

Die stock

A die stock comprising a holder, which is symmetrical to a centric holder longitudinal axis, wherein the holder has a plurality of receiving grooves each of which is configured for receiving a cutting insert and a clamping wedge, each of the receiving grooves extending from a first end face of the holder in the axial direction, the first end face running transversely to the axial direction, and wherein each of the receiving grooves extends from an inner side of the holder in a radial direction, the inner side facing toward the holder longitudinal axis. The die stock further comprises a plurality of cutting inserts, wherein each cutting insert has, on a front side that faces substantially toward the holder longitudinal axis, at least one cutting edge. The die stock further comprises a plurality of clamping wedges arranged detachably in the receiving grooves.

Indexable thread forming tap

An indexable thread forming tap including: a body in a shaft shape; and a tip concentrically and detachably attached to a leading end portion of the body by screw-fastening and rotationally driven around an axial center along with the body for rolling of a female thread, the body being disposed with a screw hole concentrically to the axial center such that a screw shaft disposed on the tip concentrically to the axial center is screwed into the screw hole for the screw-fastening, a leading end surface of the screw shaft being pressed against a bottom surface of the screw hole into close contact with each other by the screw-fastening to integrally fix the tip to the body without the leading end of the body abutting on the tip, the body being disposed with a restraining hole concentrically to the axial center.
